The Central Asian Volleyball Association is the governing body for the sports of indoor, beach and grass volleyball in Central Asia and South Asia.

Contents

In the spirit of the FIVB 2001 plan, AVC was the first to create five zonal associations at the 10th general assembly in December 1993.

It is affiliated with both the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).

The 2014–2016 AVC Beach Volleyball Continental Cup were a beach volleyball double-gender event. The winners of the event qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics

The current champion is Iran, which won its seventh title at the 2024 tournament.
