Ch'iyar Qullu (Aymara ch'iyara black, qullu mountain, [2] "black mountain", also spelled Chiar Kkollu) is a 5,112-metre-high (16,772 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes. It lies in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, at the border of the La Paz Municipality and the Palca Municipality. Ch'iyar Qullu is situated south-west of the mountains Jathi Qullu and Q'asiri. It lies at the lake Jach'a Q'asiri, south-west of it. [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Cordillera Real (Bolivia) mountain range

The Cordillera Real is a mountain range in the South American Altiplano of Bolivia. This range of fold mountains, largely composed of granite, is located southeast of Lake Titicaca, and east of the Bolivian capital of La Paz, measuring 125 km in length and 20 km in width. Despite the fact that it is only 17° south of the Equator, the Cordillera Real is relatively densely glaciated. This is due to its proximity to the Amazon lowlands with its associated moist air masses.

Ch'iyar Jaqhi is a 4,937-metre-high (16,198 ft) mountain located in the Andes in Bolivia. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Sebastián Pagador Province, in the south of the Condo "C" Canton. It lies between the mountains Jatun Wila Qullu in the south-west and Wila Qullu in the north-east. One of the nearest mountains is Jach'a Jaqhi (Jachcha Jakke) north-east of it. The river Qullpa Jawira originates near Ch'iyar Jaqhi.

Ch'iyar T'ikhi is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,092 metres (16,706 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. Ch'iyar T'ikhi lies south-west of the mountain Jach'a Qullu, west of Qala T'uxu, north of Qullqi Chata and north-east of Taypi K'uchu. The rivers Pura Purani and Jayllawaya, both tributaries of Lake Titicaca, flow along its northern and southern slopes.

Jathi Qullu lies south of the mountain Sirk'i Qullu, north-west of Sura Qullu, east of Qutapata and north of Q'asiri.

Q'asiri is a 5,224-metre-high (17,139 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes. It lies in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, at the border of the La Paz Municipality and the Palca Municipality. Q'asiri is situated south of the mountains Sirk'i Qullu and Jathi Qullu, north-west of the mountain Sura Qullu and north-east of the mountain Ch'iyar Qullu. Q'asiri lies between the lakes Q'asiri Quta in the north-east and Jach'a Q'asiri Quta in the south-west.

Ch'iyar Qullu is a 4,778-metre-high (15,676 ft) mountain in the western extension of the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Pucarani Municipality. Ch'iyar Qullu lies southwest of Tuni Lake, between the rivers Kunturiri in the north and Tuni in the south.

Layqa Qullu lies south-east of the highest point of the massif, north-west of Link'u Link'u and Silla Pata.

Ch'iyar Jaqhi lies south-east of the mountains Laram Q'awa, Chuqiwa Qullu (Chuquivakkollu), Wila Qullu and Apachita and north-west of the Sirk'i volcano. It is situated at one of the affluents of the Ch'allipiña River (Challipiña).

Wankar Quta Qullu

Wankar Quta Qullu is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,900 metres (16,076 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality, north of the main range of the Cordillera Real. Wankar Quta Qullu lies northeast of the mountain Wila Wilani. South of it there is a lake named Q'asiri Quta. A little river named Q'asiri Jawira originates here. It flows to Ch'uch'u Jawira in the south.

Quwa Qullu mountain in Bolivia

Q'uwa Qullu is a 4,425-metre-high (14,518 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Inquisivi Province, in the southern parts of the Colquiri Municipality. Q'uwa Qullu lies northwest of Ch'iyar Jaqhi.
