Mostafa Mohamed is an amateur Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's featherweight category. Mostafa represented Egypt at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's 55 kg class. He received a bye for the preliminary round of sixteen match, before losing out to Azerbaijan's Rovshan Bayramov, with a technical score of 0–12. Because his opponent advanced further into the final match, Mohamed offered another shot for the bronze medal by entering the repechage bouts. He was defeated in the first round by Cuba's Yagnier Hernández, who was able to score nine points in two straight periods, leaving Mohamed with a single point.
Yagnier Hernández is an amateur Cuban Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's featherweight category. He won a gold medal for his division at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, defeating Venezuela's Jorge Cardozo.
Makoto Sasamoto is an amateur Japanese Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's lightweight category. He is a three-time Olympian, a two-time Asian Games medalist, and a bronze medalist at the 2005 Asian Wrestling Championships in Wuhan, China. Kim also captured two more medals for the same division at the 2003 Summer Universiade in Jeju City, and at the 2007 Summer Universiade in Bangkok, Thailand.
Kim Jung-Sub is an amateur South Korean Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's light heavyweight category. Kim had won three medals for his division at the Asian Games. He also claimed two more gold medals at the 2005 Asian Wrestling Championships in Wuhan, China, and at the 2006 Asian Wrestling Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Kim is a member of the wrestling team for Samsung Life Sports Club, and is coached and trained by his brother Kim In-Sub, silver medalist in the 58 kg division at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

Im Yong-su is a North Korean weightlifter. He won a gold medal in the men's 62 kg division at the 2002 World Weightlifting Championships in Warsaw, Poland, with a total of 315.0 kilograms. Im competed for the same division at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, but he neither completed the event, nor claimed an Olympic medal.

Between 2001 and 2011, Enkhjargal had won a total of six medals for the 46, 48, and 51 kg classes at the Asian Wrestling Championships. She also captured three bronze medals in the same division at the Asian Games, and at the 2005 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Between 2001 and 2004, Otgonjargal had won a total of three medals for the 51 and 55 kg classes at the Asian Wrestling Championships. Kohei Hasegawa is an amateur Japanese Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's featherweight category. Lee Se-Yeol is an amateur South Korean Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's light heavyweight category. In 2010, Lee defeated Japan's Norikatsu Saikawa for the gold medal in his respective division at the Asian Wrestling Championships in Delhi, India, and eventually captured a silver at the Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, losing out to Iran's Taleb Nematpour.
