Chahar Takhteh (Persian : چهارتخته‎, also Romanized as Chahār Takhteh; also known as Chahārtakhteh)^[1] is a village in Shalil Rural District, Miankuh District, Ardal County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Shalil Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Miankuh District, Ardal County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,158, in 1,150 families. The rural district has 30 villages.

Miankuh District is a district (bakhsh) in Ardal County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,780, in 3,311 families. The District has one city Sar Khun. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Miankuh Rural District and Shalil Rural District.
