Chanda Nagar is a suburb of Hyderabad and is located close to Lingampally and Miyapur. [2] It is administered as Ward No. 110 of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. [3]
It has a mixture of commercial and residential properties with shopping malls and housing colonies. Power equipment manufacturer Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) and the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT)- is about (8 km) from Chandanagar.
It has undergone a drastic change in recent years especially due to its proximity to major IT companies like CA, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Polaris, CMC, Honeywell, CTS and Infotech, and Hi-Tech city. Many IT professionals choose to stay at Chandanagar for the all-around facilities provided and the peaceful environment. Major educational institutes such as Indian School of Business (ISB), International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), and Hyderabad Central University are within 10 km and it is also the nearest major suburb to the newly established Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
The area has become a multi-community living area. In the recent GHMC elections, Mrs. Manjula Raghunath Reddy won the corporate seat.
There are many shopping malls and supermarkets located in this area.
Large malls (Clothing) like Chennai Shopping Mall, RS Brothers, KLM Fashion Mall, and leading brand stores like Reebok, Adidas, BATA, Raymonds, Peter England, Pepe, Otto, etc., are part of this area. Among many supermarkets, Vijetha, Ratnadeep, and Heritage are the most famous. Big Bazaar is also planning an outlet just opposite Chennai Shopping Mall; the work is already underway. Furniture stores such as Anu Furniture, RNR's Furniture Square, Damro, and Visree Traders Furniture Store are present from the inception. Leading Electronic Stores like Bajaj Electronics, TATA Croma, YES Mart, and Reliance Digital are in this area. Healthcare places like - Apollo Clinic, Vishnu's Paramitha Children and Women Hospital, and American Laser Eye Hospital Pranam Hospital are also situated in this area.
Bigbazar is under renovation to Chandanagar.
Sridevi theatre, Srilatha Theatre, Asian Jyothi Theatre, Inox (GSM Mall), Miraj (Geeta Cinemas), and the upcoming JP Cinemas (Tapadia's Maruti Infinity Mall) are surrounded by Chandanagar with 19 screens. (adding JP Cinemas)
Chandanagar also has many educational institutions like Sri Chaitanya Jr. college, Narayana Jr. college, etc., and schools like Bhavans, and Sancta Maria in the vicinity. Mytri super specialty hospital and Tesla diagnostics are located here with many other clinics and general hospitals.
Gangaram Hanuman temple and Venkateshwara Swamy temple are the most prominent temples in the area. Hyderabad St. Thomas Marthoma Church Archived 14 April 2021 at the Wayback Machine is also located in Chandanagar.
The state-owned TGSRTC runs the city bus service, connecting Chandanagar to all the major centers of the city and IT Parks. Chandanagar is on the Hyderabad-Mumbai NH road which was widened to six lanes
It is serviced by Hyderabad's local train MMTS Train service.
The proposed road from My home Jewel on NH65 to Navayuga SEZ on Old Mumbai road as per the master plan may be laid as early as possible.
The Ameenpur area in Chandanagar is declared as Special Economic Zone. Phoenix Living Spaces Pvt Ltd has initiated plans in setting up the infrastructure.

Sainikpuri is a residential neighbourhood in the northeastern part of Hyderabad City. It falls under Kapra mandal of Medchal-Malkajgiri District, and is currently administered under GHMC East Zone. It started as a co-operative housing society venture for retired army personnel, but now has houses which belong to other defence services as well as civilians. Late Brig M. K Rao, Late Brig S.N.Docca and Late Lt. Col. Tiwari Singh were the first few to have got plots in the society and had a vision to develop the colony into an elite area. The housing plots originally allotted to the members of the Sainikpuri co-operative society were of the size of 700–1,000 square yards each. Owing to this reason, most residences have large lawns and gardens. Roads are well laid and numbered. Avenues are lined with a variety of flowering and fruiting trees, and are ideal for morning and evening walks. The sprawling cantonment area, as well as The College of Defence Management (CDM) which is a premier establishment of the Indian armed forces, are in the vicinity of Sainikpuri. The old buildings are now slowly giving way to multi-storied apartments, and it is becoming a costlier affair to acquire living space in this area.
Trimulgherry, is a locality and a Mandal in the city of Secunderabad which falls under Secunderabad Revenue Division, and is a major suburb of Secunderabad, India. It is in the north of Hyderabad District. Trimulgherry used to be base for Britishers in colonial era and many britisher lived here even after the independence. Mainly many churches were built around this area for the British. Few notable ones are Holy Family Church, Wesley Garrison Church, All saints Churches. Theses churches are of old era. A milatary Hospital was built for the britishers, it now serves the indian armed forces now. Trimulgherry also has very famous Surya Bhagwan Temple, one of the few dedicated to Sun God where there is a small pond.
Safilguda originally named as Safilgudem before (1970's) is a residential locality in Neredmet neighbourhood of Hyderabad city. It falls under Malkajgiri mandal in Medchal-Malkajgiri district of Indian state of Telangana. It formed Ward No. 137 of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation in 2009.
Alwal is in Hyderabad city, and a suburb of Hyderabad. Earlier, Alwal was a part of Malkajgiri Mandal but in 2006, Alwal Municipality was merged into Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Bagh Lingampally is a commercial and residential neighbourhood of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It has become one of the many major centres of Hyderabad. Lingampalli.It was earlier known as Lingampalli Bagh, which contained a royal palace with a compound of 55 acres, with 130 acres around it. Lingampalli Bagh was given as a wedding present by the 5th Nizam, Nawab Afzal-ud-Dowla Bahadur when his daughter Shehzadi Haseen unnisa married Nawab Khursheed Jah Bahadur, H.E. Paigah Amir Nawab Sir Khursheed Jah Bahadur, the second greatest Paigah nobleman of Hyderabad Deccan. A little portion of the palace remains today...in what is Ambedkar College inside Lingampalli Bagh. The bagh was acquired by the Housing Board A.P., in the sixties. Furthermore, the palace had a tunnel leading to Golconda Fort. This was a property belonging to the Nizams and was given to Haseen Unnisa Begum, wife of Sir Khursheed Jah, by her father Nawab Afzal-ud-Dowla, Asaf Jah V, at the time of her wedding. She was also the sister of H.H Nawab Mahboob Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VI. This locality was also home to one of the Nobility of Hyderabad, Khan Bahadur Abdulkareem Lal Khan, Former Kotwal in the 7th Nizams Government. This area used to be full of fruit gardens belonging to them, from where the prefix ‘Bagh' is derived. The place had a small village called Lingampally which had a tank where queens would bathe. The locality has gained importance due to its proximity to RTC X Roads, Chikkadpally, Barkatpura, Himayathnagar, Nallakunta and Koti. This suburb is a mixture of the Old and New City cultures of Hyderabad. There is a vegetable market on Saturdays.

ECIL X Roads or ECIL Cross Roads is a major commercial center in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is an important intersection located between some of the densest residential areas in Secunderabad, including Kushaiguda and Moula Ali. The suburb is named after ECIL Factory located nearby on the road to Cherlapally. A TSRTC Bus Terminal is located beside the crossroads. The roads intersecting here are the Trimulgherry-ECIL road and the Tarnaka-Kushaiguda road that starts at Tarnaka Crossroads on the Inner Ring Road. Radhika Crossroads is another major intersection located just a kilometre away on the Trimulgherry-ECIL road and Moula Ali-Dammaiguda road.
