Charles Kwame Sagoe Junior (born 24 July 2004) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left winger for EFL Championship club Swansea City on loan from Premier League club Arsenal. [1]

Career

Sagoe Jr played for Arsenal since U12 level having previously played with Fulham. He progressed through the Arsenal academy and represented the club's U21 side in the EFL Trophy during the 2021-22 season. [2]

In September 2023, he was called up to the Arsenal first-team squad training ahead of their UEFA Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven. [3] On 27 September 2023, he made his senior debut for Arsenal, starting in the EFL Cup against Brentford. [4]

Personal life

Sagoe Jr was born in England and he is of Ghanaian descent; he is eligible to represent both England and Ghana at international level. [5]
