Chasing Shadows is the third and final studio album by American heavy metal band Black Tide. It was released on October 16, 2015. This is the first official studio release to not feature original bassist Zakk Sandler and drummer Steven Spence. The album's first single titled "Angel in the Dark" was released on September 15, 2015. [1]

Arthur has built his reputation over the years through critically acclaimed releases and constant touring; his unique solo live performances often incorporate the use of a number of distortion and loop pedals, and his shows are recorded live at the soundboard and made available to concertgoers immediately following the show on recordable media.

Black Tide was an American heavy metal band from Kendall, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band last consisted of Gabriel Garcia, Austin Diaz and Cody Paige (drums). They released their debut album, Light from Above, in 2008 through Interscope Records when Garcia was 15 years old. Their second album, Post Mortem, was released in 2011. Black Tide's EP Bite the Bullet was released in 2013 by InnerCat Music Group, a Miami-based boutique label. In 2015, the band released their last album Chasing Shadows. In July 2016, Garcia announced that the band is over and he is concentrating on his solo project.
Light from Above is the debut album from Black Tide. The album was released on March 18, 2008, and was produced by Johnny K. Each member of Black Tide was under 20 years of age during the recording of this album, making it very notable in the music industry. Three singles have been released from the album, "Shockwave", "Warriors of Time", and "Shout", respectively. Two music videos were produced for "Shockwave" and have aired on MTV2's Headbangers Ball. Frontman Gabriel Garcia was only a high school freshman and 14 years old when the album was written and recorded. The album was praised by critics and helped them win the 2008 Kerrang! Awards for "Best International Newcomer". The album features a Metallica cover of the song "Hit the Lights" from their debut album Kill 'Em All.

It features a live recording of the song "Warriors of Time" from their debut album Light from Above on the B-side and a cover of Iron Maiden's "Prowler". "Prowler" was originally released on the Kerrang! compilation Maiden Heaven Iron Maiden tribute CD as well as the band's CD single for the song "Shout". The cover is a scene from the music video for "Shockwave". It was the last release to feature rhythm guitarist Alex Nuñez.
"Shockwave" is a song by American heavy metal band Black Tide. It is credited to Gabriel Garcia, Alexander Nuñez and Raul Garcia Jr. It was the first track and first single from their 2008 debut album Light from Above, with the other two singles being "Warriors of Time" and "Shout". It was released before the album. Today it is one of the band's most famous songs and has been played live on almost all of the band's concerts, also it was performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 27, 2008. It charted only in the US at number #25. The CD Single was the band's first official release and is also known as the "Black Tide EP". The single version is a clean edit of the song, the word "fuck" that is mentioned in the chorus is removed.
