Bite the Bullet is the fourth EP released by the band Black Tide. It was scheduled to be released in the fall of 2013 under the label InnerCat Music Group. The EP was produced and engineered by Mariano Aponte. [1] This is the first release without drummer Steven Spence. [2] The first single titled "Not Afraid", was released on August 31. [3]

Background

In an interview with The Vinne Langdon show, bassist Zakk Sandler stated that he was not invited to be a part of the Just Another Drug EP. Later, it led to the departure of him and drummer Steven Spence. [4]

According to Gabriel Garcia, "“So as you all know we've been working on a six song EP. We're excited to let you all know it'll be titled Bite The Bullet. We recently finished tracking Bite The Bullet at Live House studios in Miami, FL with producer/engineer Mariano Aponte formerly of Silvia Massy's world famous RadioStar Studios. We really went back to our roots on this one and it is being mixed right now! Can't wait for you all to hear this!” [5]

On August 31, the band released their first single off their forthcoming EP, titled "Not Afraid". [6]

Writing and recording

On October 13, 2012, Gabriel tweeted "So excited to let all our fans know that I'm currently on my way to Georgia to start working on demos for Black Tide's 3rd cd!!!!". [2]

On July 3, 2013, Black Tide stated that they were going through a line-up change, and that they are working on a new Black Tide EP (6 songs). [7]

Bite the Bullet was tracked at Live House Studios in Miami with producer and engineer Mariano Aponte at the helm. [1]

Bullet (Misfits song) 1978 single by the Misfits

"Bullet" is the second single released by the horror punk band the Misfits. The four tracks comprising the EP were recorded, along with thirteen others, in early 1978 for the proposed Static Age album. When the band could not find a record label to release the album, they instead released four of the songs as "Bullet" on singer Glenn Danzig's label Plan 9 Records. The songs were re-released in different versions over subsequent years, until Static Age was finally released in its entirety in 1997.

Bullet for My Valentine Welsh heavy metal band

Bullet for My Valentine, often abbreviated as BFMV, are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is currently composed of Matthew Tuck, Michael Paget, Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias. Former members include Michael Thomas, Jason James and Nick Crandle; the latter were on bass. They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. A change of style from that of Jeff Killed John led the band to change their name. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. Chiodos American post-hardcore band

Chiodos was an American post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan. Formed in 2001, the group was originally known as "The Chiodos Bros," the band's name was a tribute to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for the film Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Chiodos released their first full-length album, titled All's Well That Ends Well, on July 26, 2005. Their second album, Bone Palace Ballet, was released in North America on September 4, 2007 and debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Independent Albums. Warner Bros. Records released Bone Palace Ballet on January 26, 2009, as part of a new distribution deal in the UK. They released their third studio album, Illuminaudio in 2010, and it was the only studio album to feature Brandon Bolmer as lead vocalist and Tanner Wayne as drummer. The band released their fourth and final album, Devil on April 1, 2014, which marked the return of original vocalist Craig Owens and fan favorite drummer Derrick Frost.

Black Tide was an American heavy metal band from Kendall, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band consisted of Gabriel Garcia, Austin Diaz and Cody Paige (drums). They released their debut album, Light from Above, on March 18, 2008 through Interscope Records when Garcia was 15 years old. Their second album, Post Mortem, was released on August 23, 2011. Black Tide's EP Bite the Bullet was released on November 12, 2013 by InnerCat Music Group, a Miami-based boutique label. On October 16, 2015 band released their last album Chasing Shadows. On July 22, 2016 Gabriel Garcia announced on his Instagram that the band is over and he is concentrating on his solo project.

"Bury Me" is the first single by heavy metal band Black Tide from their second studio album, Post Mortem. It was released on September 17, 2010, and includes a B-side called "Honest Eyes", which was also released as a stand-alone digital single. Both of the songs were written some band members and Josh Wilbur, and produced by Josh Wilbur and GGGarth.

<i>Al Cielo EP</i> 2011 EP by Black Tide

Al Cielo EP is the second EP by the American heavy metal band Black Tide. It features re-recorded versions of three songs from Post Mortem with Spanish vocals. On the two latter songs, the names are changed to be in Spanish. "Let it Out" and "Into the Sky" are titled "Dejalo Salir" and "Al Cielo" respectively.

Alex Garcia-Rivera is an American rock drummer, drum-tech and recording engineer from Boston, Massachusetts. He has been the drummer for the bands Shelter, Piebald, Good Clean Fun, Bloodhorse, 454 Big Block, Saves The Day, Cold Cave, but is best known as the drummer for hardcore/punk band American Nightmare. He also performs all instruments in a solo band under the moniker Chrome Over Brass and owns and operates Mystic Valley Studio, an all-analog recording studio in Medford, Massachusetts.

The Narrative American indie rock band

The Narrative is an American independent indie rock band from Long Island, New York, formed in 2008. They are currently based at Nashville, Tennessee. Since 2011, the band has consisted of Suzie Zeldin and Jesse Gabriel. Previously, the group has featured the drummer Charlie Seich. The Red Bullet Tour, also known as 2014 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet and 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet, was the first concert tour headlined by South Korean boy band BTS to promote their 2 Cool 4 Skool (2013) debut single album, O!RUL8,2? (2013) EP, Skool Luv Affair (2014) EP, and Dark & Wild (2014) studio album. The tour began on October 17, 2014 in South Korea and initially visited six cities in Asia. Its world tour extension began on June 6, 2015 in Malaysia and toured Australia, North America and Latin America before ending in Hong Kong that August. In all, the entire tour attracted 80,000 spectators at 18 cities in 13 countries.

Chasing Shadows is the third and final studio album by the Florida-based metal band Black Tide. It was released on October 16, 2015. This is the first official studio release to not feature original bassist Zakk Sandler and drummer Steven Spence. The album's first single titled "Angel in the Dark" was released on September 15, 2015.
