Chaudhary Charan Singh Post Graduate College or Chaudhary Charan Singh Degree College is a government aided private college at Heonra, a village adjacent to Saifai in Etawah. It was established as Chaudhary Charan Singh Degree College by Mulayam Singh Yadav in 1983. [1] [2] [3] It is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (formerly Kanpur University) [4] [5] and offers under-graduate and post-graduate courses in science, arts, commerce, agriculture, computer application, management, education, library & information science and physical education. AICTE and NCTE Approval

This college is All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved to run Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees. This college is also National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approved to run Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) degrees.

In 2023, this college became a part of Mukhyamantri Krishak Chatravriti Yojna. By Mukhyamantri Krishak Chatravriti Yojna now Agriculture degree students of this college can get a per month scholarship of ₹3,000. [10] [11]

Chaudhary Charan Singh College of Law is a law college in CCS PG College campus, established in 2012. It offers under-graduate course in law i.e. 3 year LL.B. It is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University [12] and The Bar Council of India [13] for 120 students every year in 3 year LL.B. from 2012.

He is a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Jaswantnagar seat in Etawah district, from 1996 till now. Mulayam Singh Yadav was an Indian politician, a socialist figure and founder of the Samajwadi Party. Over the course of his political career spanning more than six decades, he served for three terms as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, and also as the Union Minister of Defence in the Government of India. A long-time parliamentarian, he was a seven-time Member of Parliament representing Mainpuri, Azamgarh, Sambhal and Kannauj constituencies in the Lok Sabha, a ten-time member of the Legislative Assembly, member of the Legislative Council and the Leader of Opposition several times as well. The veteran politician was a prominent figure of his time in Indian politics, and was often referred to as Netaji and Dhartiputra by party leaders and workers. Sarvagya Singh Katiyar, FRSC, popularly known as S. S. Katiyar, was an Indian scientist specializing in enzymology, and the founder Director of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow. He is a former president of the Association of Indian Universities and a former vice chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur and Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology.
