Cheap Time

Cheap Time is a Nashville-based garage rock band, fronted by Jeffrey Novak. [1] The band, which formed in 2006, has toured with Jay Reatard, Yo La Tengo, Guitar Wolf, and Mudhoney. They have released seven 7-inch singles, and four studio albums on In the Red Records: Cheap Time (2008), Fantastic Explanations (2010), Wallpaper Music (2012), and Exit Smiles (2013). [2]

Sound

Cheap Time mixes glam rock riffs and power pop melodies with elements of punk rock. The band's earlier sound was compared to early Redd Kross and The Quick. Their second album was compared to The Kinks and Alex Chilton, while their third album has been compared to classic punk bands The Saints and Magazine. Novak has stated that his favorite recording artists are John Cale, Kevin Ayers, and Peter Hammill. [3]

Elvis Sings The Wonderful World of Christmas is the fifteenth studio album by American singer Elvis Presley, released in October 1971. Gregory Johnathon Cartwright, also known by his stage name Greg Oblivian, is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Memphis, Tennessee. From 2001 to 2022 he fronted Reigning Sound which was signed to Merge Records. After moving away from Memphis in the mid-2000s, he has since lived with his family in Asheville, North Carolina.

Un Peu de l'Âme des Bandits is the second album by Belgian avant-rock band Aksak Maboul. It was recorded at Sunrise Studio in Kirchberg, Switzerland in February and August 1979, and released on LP in January 1980 on founding member Marc Hollander's Belgian independent record label, Crammed Discs. At the time the band had changed the spelling of their name to "Aqsak Maboul", and this is reflected on the album's record sleeve. When the album was re-issued on CD in 1995 the spelling of their name reverted to "Aksak Maboul".

Zig Zags is a L.A. based heavy metal/punk rock trio. The band consists of singer/guitarist Jed Maheu, drummer Dane Arnold and bassist Sean Hoffman. Clash has described their music as a "Venn diagram connecting Black Sabbath, Black Flag and Motörhead".
