Twin Dragons is a 1992 Hong Kong action comedy film directed by Ringo Lam and Tsui Hark, and starring Jackie Chan in a double role as identical twin brothers separated at birth.
Judwaa (transl. Twins) is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film, directed by David Dhawan, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha with Kader Khan, Dalip Tahil, Shakti Kapoor, Deepak Shirke, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah and Mukesh Rishi in supporting roles. It is a remake of the Telugu film Hello Brother (1994), which in turn is inspired from the Hong Kong action comedy film Twin Dragons (1992) starring Jackie Chan.

It stars Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna and Soundarya, with music composed by Raj–Koti. The film is loosely based on the Hong Kong action comedy Twin Dragons (1992) starring Jackie Chan. In turn, Hello Brother spawned several of its own remakes, twice in Hindi as Judwaa (1997) and its reboot Judwaa 2 (2017), in Kannada as Cheluva (1997) and in Bengali as Bhaijaan Elo Re. The film was the highest grossing Telugu movie of 1994.
Premaloka is a 1987 Indian romantic musical film directed by Ravichandran, in his directorial debut, and produced by N. Veeraswamy under Sri Eshwari Productions. The film, based on the 1982 film Grease 2, was made simultaneously in Kannada and Tamil with the Tamil version titled Paruva Ragam. It stars Ravichandran in the lead role, alongside Juhi Chawla, Leelavathi and Lokesh in supportive roles in the Kannada version, while Jaishankar and Manorama reprise their respective roles in the Tamil version. Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Tiger Prabhakar, Srinath and Urvashi made guest appearances in the film. Thengai Srinivasan, Cho Ramaswamy and Delhi Ganesh portray the respective roles of Ambareesh, Prabhakar and Srinath in the Tamil version.

Shanti Kranti is a 1991 Indian action film produced and directed by V. Ravichandran under Eshwari Productions. The film stars Ravichandran and Juhi Chawla, alongside Ramesh Aravind, Khushbu Sundar, Anant Nag, Babu Antony, Y. Vijaya and Baby Sangita. It was simultaneously shot in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. Ravichandran was the main lead in Kannada, while he portrayed Ramesh Aravind's role in Telugu and Tamil. Nagarjuna played the lead role in Telugu, while Rajinikanth played the lead role in Hindi and Tamil, with the Tamil version titled Nattukku Oru Nallavan. The film became a box-office bomb in all languages.

Music and lyrics were composed by Hamsalekha. The movie was later dubbed in Telugu as Major, and released on 5 December 1998. It was also dubbed in Tamil.

However, the Kannada version did not match the success of the original.
Mahesh Anand was an Indian actor, dancer and martial artist who worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. He is remembered for playing villainous roles in Hindi films. He was a black belt in Karate and was a model and a trained dancer before he started acting. His debut movie was Karishmaa 1984 while his last on-screen appearance was in the 2019 comedy-drama Rangeela Raja. Before acting in Karishmaa he performed for the opening sequence of Sanam Teri Kasam 1982 with his dance in silhouette.
