Sowmya Sathyanarayana, better known by her stage name Soundarya, was an Indian actress known for her works primarily in Telugu cinema in addition to Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam films. Premaloka is a 1987 Indian romantic musical film directed by Ravichandran in his directorial debut and produced by N. Veeraswamy under the banner Sri Eshwari Productions. Based on the 1982 film Grease 2, the film was made simultaneously in Kannada and Tamil with the Tamil version titled Paruva Ragam. It stars Ravichandran in the lead role alongside Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla. Leelavathi and Lokesh play supportive roles in the Kannada version while Jaishankar and Manorama reprise their respective roles in the Tamil version. Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Tiger Prabhakar, Srinath and Urvashi made guest appearances in the film. Thengai Srinivasan, Cho Ramaswamy and Delhi Ganesh portray the respective roles of Ambareesh, Prabhakar and Srinath in the Tamil version.
Veeraswamy Ravichandran, known mononymously as Ravichandran, is an Indian actor, director, producer, music director, lyricist and editor working predominantly in Kannada cinema. The son of film producer N. Veeraswamy, he continues to produce and distribute films under his father's production house, Sri Eswari Productions. He is popularly referred to as "Crazy Star" by the media and his followers.
Naanu Nanna Kanasu is a 2010 Indian Kannada-language drama film directed by Prakash Raj, starring himself and Amulya. It is a remake of the Tamil hit film Abhiyum Naanum that was produced by Prakash Raj himself. Ramya was originally cast as the lead in the film, but she was later replaced by Amoolya. In Bangalore, the film ran in theatres for 17 consecutive weeks.

Thaikulame Thaikulame is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by N. Murugesh while the story was written by K. Bhagyaraj. Kanasugara (transl. Dreamer) is a 2001 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film directed by Karan. Film stars V. Ravichandran, Prema and Shashikumar, Hema Choudhary in lead roles. Kanasugara is a remake of 1998 Tamil film Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen. Music is composed by Rajesh Ramanath.
O Premave is a 1999 Indian Kannada-language romance drama film directed by Naganna. The film stars V. Ravichandran along with Rambha, Doddanna and Srinivasa Murthy in prominent roles. Telugu actor Srihari made his debut in Kannada cinema with this film.
Ondagona Baa is a 2003 Indian Kannada-language romance drama film directed by Udayasankar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The film stars V. Ravichandran and Shilpa Shetty. Yester-year veteran actors J. V. Somayajulu and K. R. Vijaya too feature in prominent roles. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Kalisundam Raa (2000). The film also marked the reunion of actor Ravichandran with music composer Hamsalekha who had parted ways due to some differences for many years.

Ugadi is a 2007 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film directed by Om Sai Prakash and produced by Mega Hit Productions. The film stars V. Ravichandran, Telugu actor Srikanth, Kamna Jethmalani and Jennifer Kotwal. The film is a remake of the successful Telugu film Santosham (2002) directed by Dasaradh and starred Nagarjuna and Prabhudeva.

Naanu Nanna Hendthi is a 1985 Kannada-language romantic drama film directed by D. Rajendra Babu and written by K. S. Satyanarayan. The film stars V. Ravichandran, Urvashi and Leelavathi. The core plot of the film was loosely based on the 1981 Telugu film Nenu Maa Aavida. The soundtrack and score composition was by Shankar–Ganesh and the film was produced by N. Veeraswamy. D. Rajendra Babu made his Bollywood debut in 1987, with the remake version of this movie, titled as Pyaar Karke Dekho. The song Akkipete Lakkamma was retained in the Hindi version as Haki Petai Lakamma- both sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. The film was also remade in Tamil as Kanna Thorakkanum Saami. The film was a box office success.
O Nanna Nalle is a 2000 Indian Kannada-language film directed by V. Ravichandran and starring V. Ravichandran himself and Isha Koppikar. The film is the Kannada remake of the Tamil film Thulladha Manamum Thullum (1999), which itself is based on City Lights (1931).
Nanna Ninna Prema Kathe is a 2016 Indian Kannada romantic drama film directed by Shivu Jamkhandi and produced by actor Anand S. Namagouda. The film stars Vijay Raghavendra and Nidhi Subbaiah pairing up for the first time in lead roles whilst Thilak Shekar and Chikkanna play the key supporting roles.
