Chiarjaque^[1] (possibly from Aymara ch'iyara black, jaqhi precipice, cliff)^[2] is a mountain in the Andes of southern Peru, about 5,300 metres (17,388 ft) high. It is in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District.^[1] Chiarjaque is north of Yucamane volcano.^[1]

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

The Andes or Andean Mountains are the longest continental mountain range in the world, forming a continuous highland along the western edge of South America. This range is about 7,000 km (4,300 mi) long, about 200 to 700 km wide, and of an average height of about 4,000 m (13,000 ft). The Andes extend from north to south through seven South American countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.

Peru, officially the Republic of Peru, is a country in western South America. It is bordered in the north by Ecuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil, in the southeast by Bolivia, in the south by Chile, and in the west by the Pacific Ocean. Peru is a megadiverse country with habitats ranging from the arid plains of the Pacific coastal region in the west to the peaks of the Andes mountains vertically extending from the north to the southeast of the country to the tropical Amazon Basin rainforest in the east with the Amazon river.

Pacocollo lies west of a lake named Pasto Grande or Ajuachaya and Wila Wilani.

Yunkani is a 4,943-metre-high (16,217 ft) mountain in the Andes of southern Peru. It is situated in the Moquegua Region, Mariscal Nieto Province, Carumas District, and in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District. Yunkani lies southwest of the mountain Paxsi Awki and northwest of the mountain Wisk'acha and Wisk'acha Lake.

Iru Uma is a 5,055-metre-high (16,585 ft) mountain in the Andes of southern Peru. It is situated in the Moquegua Region, Mariscal Nieto Province, Carumas District, and in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District. Iru Uma lies southeast of Wisk'acha Lake and southwest of the mountain Wisk'acha.

Qupa Phuju is a 5,400-metre-high (17,717 ft) mountain in the Andes of southern Peru. It is located in the Moquegua Region, Mariscal Nieto Province, Carumas District, and in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District. Qupa Phuju lies southwest of the lake Lurisquta, southeast of Wisk'acha Lake and the mountain Wisk'acha and east of Iru Uma.

Nasa Parqu is a 4,939-metre-high (16,204 ft) mountain in the Andes of southern Peru. It is situated in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District. Nasa Parqu lies northwest of the volcano Yukamani and southwest of the mountain Ch'iyar Jaqhi.

Larqanku is a 5,585-metre-high (18,323 ft) mountain in the Andes of southern Peru. It is located in the Puno Region, El Collao Province, Santa Rosa District, and in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District. It is southwest of Lurisquta and southeast of Wisk'acha Lake. Larqanku lies between Jisk'a Larqanku in the south and Panti Usu in the northwest.
