Chichester Rugby Football Club is an English rugby union team based in Chichester, in West Sussex. The club runs three senior men's teams, a ladies team and a full range of mini and junior teams. The 1st XV play in Regional 2 South East (Level 6 of the English rugby union system).

Oaklands Pavilion is the home of Chichester Rugby Football Club (CRFC) being located within Oaklands Park, this large tree lined park is to the north of the City of Chichester and is one of the most picturesque rugby locations in the South East of England; with fine views of the City and Cathedral from its balcony. The recently modernised clubhouse – Oaklands Pavilion – overlooks the 1st XV pitch which is recognised as one of the finest pitches in Sussex. The club location is Wellington Road, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 6BB.

Chichester is a city with many historical connections especially its Roman origins and Georgian background. The City is growing at a rapid rate, hosting many local and international businesses together with a traditional agricultural industry. CRFC has established links with local schools, and further education establishments; Chichester College of Further Education, Chichester University for example. The Club also has a long tradition of welcoming players from the Southern hemisphere. Connections with local business have enabled them to provide work and accommodation for these visiting players.

The Director of Rugby for CRFC is Paul Colley with the senior coaching team comprising Ken Dowding (Head Coach) supported by Mark Norton. Scott Barlow, Billy Toone and Richard Ives. The 2nd XV play in Counties 2 Hampshire. The 3rd XV play in Counties 5 Hampshire South East of the Hampshire Merit Tables.

Chichester were promoted into National 3 (Level 5 of English rugby) at the end of the 2013–14 season, beating Eton Manor in a play-off. The club spent three seasons in National 3, finishing 7th, 10th and 12th. Relegation was sealed by a 5 point deduction from the RFU.

As well as having several successful men's teams and the mini & juniors section the club's ladies team has done from strength to strength since its formation in 2019, the ladies team are currently in the RFU Inner Warrior Sussex League with several other development ladies teams in the county.

Westcombe Park RFC is a rugby football club based in Orpington in south-east London. The name of the club comes from the Westcombe Park area of what is today part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, where the club was founded. The club played on fields in Lee, Shooter's Hill and Sidcup before the move to Orpington. Westcombe Park play in National League 2 East, a level four league in the English rugby union system following their promotion from Regional 1 South East at the end of the 2022–23 season.

Sussex 1 is an English level 9 Rugby Union League. It is made up of teams predominantly from Sussex. Teams play home and away matches from September through to April. The league champions are automatically promoted up to London 3 South East, while the second placed team plays a promotion playoff against the second placed team from Kent 1. Relegated teams drop to Sussex 2 although in recent season there has been no relegation. Only 1st XV sides can be promoted into London 3 South East.

London 3 South East is an English level 8 Rugby Union League involving club sides from Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex and the south-east London. It is made up of teams predominantly from London, Sussex and Kent. The twelve teams play home and away matches from September through to April. Each year all clubs in the division also take part in the RFU Senior Vase - a level 8 national competition.

Worthing Rugby Football Club is an English rugby union team playing in the fourth tier of the English rugby union league system; National League 2 East. The first XV, nicknamed The Raiders, were runners-up to Henley Hawks in the National League 2 South 2012–13 season and qualified for a play-off against the runners-up of National League 2 North, Stourbridge winning 28 – 26. In doing so, the club became the first club from Sussex to play in the third tier of English rugby. Regional 2 South East, previously known as London 1 South, is an English level 6 rugby union regional league for rugby clubs in London and the south-east of England including sides from East Sussex, south Essex, south Greater London, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex. When this division began in 1987 it was known as London 2 South, changing to London 1 South ahead of the 2009–10 season. It was the feeder league for London & South East Premier into which the champion team each season is promoted. The second-placed team entered a play-off against the runner-up of London 1 North. Three teams were relegated into either London 2 South East and London 2 South West depending on their location.

The club plays at their own Ferryfields ground on the banks of the River Trent, close to the Wilford Toll Bridge. In the 2010–11 season the club was awarded a prestigious President's XV award from the RFU, recognising the links the club has formed with the local universities. Haywards Heath Rugby Football Club is an English rugby union team. The first XV currently plays in Sussex 2, the tenth tier of English rugby union competition. The club also has a number of other teams, with their 2nd XV currently playing in the Sussex Late Red 3. They used to run a 4th Team called "The Dinos" named after the dinosaur fossil discovered by Gideon Mantell on what is now their playing fields.

Dorking Rugby Football Club is an English rugby union football club, originally based in Dorking, Surrey and play in the nearby village of Brockham. The club currently play in the fourth tier of English club rugby.

Chobham Rugby Football Club; founded in 1967, is a community rugby union club run by volunteers and based at Fowlers Wells in Chobham, Surrey. Chobham RFC has more than 2000 members with players in senior, boys and girls minis and juniors, walking and touch rugby teams participating in a full annual programme of fixtures; including friendly games, leagues and festivals. They also run a Mixed Ability Team – The Surrey Chargers. The 1st XV team participates in Regional 2 Thames; the sixth tier of the English rugby union system, having won Counties 1 Surrey/Sussex in 2022-23. Their highest ever league position finish was second in London 1 in 2014–15; tier six.

The RFU Junior Vase is a rugby union national knockout cup competition in England run by the Rugby Football Union, which has been competed for since 1990. It is mostly contested by 1st XV teams at level 9 of the English rugby union system, although sides as low as level 12 or even outside the league system can sometimes enter. The competition is a national one, but split into regions until the national semi-finals with the final being held at Twickenham Stadium in London. Presently, the RFU Junior Vase is the fifth most important club cup competition in England, behind the Premiership Rugby Cup, RFU Championship Cup, RFU Intermediate Cup and RFU Senior Vase.

Winchester RFC is an English rugby union club that is affiliated with the Hampshire RFU. Winchester currently run four senior men's teams - 1st XV - who play in Regional 2 South Central 2nd XV - who play in Hampshire 2, a 3rd XV - who play in Hampshire 4 and the Knights - largely a veteran's side who play in Hampshire 5. There is a Women's team and mini and juniors and Colts sides covering all age groups from U5s upwards. The men's 1st XV currently play in Regional 2 South Central - a tier 6 league in the English rugby union system - having won promotion from Hampshire 1 at the end of the 2022-23 season.
