He is a member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC). Film director Khalid Rahman and cinematographer Jimshi Khalid are his brothers.

The film stars Basil Joseph, Lal, Arjun Ashokan, Balu Varghese and Ganapathi S Poduval in important roles. The film was produced by Lakshmi Warrier, Ganesh Menon, Sajith Kookal and Shawn Antony under the banner of Cheers Entertainment. The film was released on 19 November 2021, and was unanimously met with critical acclaim with praise towards the performances, clean humour, emotional depth, story and Chidambaram's direction.
Khalid Rahman is an Indian film director and actor who works in the Malayalam film Industry. He made his debut directorial with the film Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. His other works include Unda, Love and Thallumaala.
Mashar Hamsa is an Indian costume designer from Kerala, who works in the Malayalam films. He started his career as a film costume designer in 2013 with the movie Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. As of April 2023, Mashar has designed costumes for more than 30 Malayalam films. He is a recipient of 2020 Kerala Film Critics Association Awards for best costume designer for the movie Trance.
Abhiram Radhakrishnan is an Indian actor from Kerala, who works in Malayalam films. He started his career as an assistant director and debuted as an actor in 2015 with the film Chandrettan Evideya. As of May 2023, he has worked in more than 30 Malayalam films.
Manjummel Boys is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language survival thriller film written and directed by Chidambaram. It is produced by Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir and Shawn Antony under Parava Films. The film stars an ensemble cast, which includes Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Lal Jr., Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman and Shebin Benson. It is based on a true incident from 2006. The film follows a group of friends from a small town called Manjummel near Kochi, who decide to have a vacation in Kodaikanal, which is affected when one of them becomes trapped in the Guna Caves.
