K. U. Mohanan is an Indian film cinematographer who primarily works in the Bollywood and Malayalam film industries. [1] [2] [3] He is an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He has worked in several documentaries and Non feature films in his early days. He is a member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC).

Carbon is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language adventure thriller film written and directed by Venu, starring Fahadh Faasil and Mamta Mohandas. The film follows Sebastian and Sameera on their expedition to find a lost treasure deep inside a forest. K. U. Mohanan was the cinematographer, while Vishal Bhardwaj and Bijibal composed the songs and the score, respectively. Principal photography took place between August and October 2017 in several hilly terrain locations in North Kerala.

The film tells the story of a blind piano player who unwittingly becomes embroiled in the murder of a retired actor.

Maharshi is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies, and PVP Cinema. It stars Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film was released on 9 May 2019.

Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti is an Indian film cinematographer, turned director, screenwriter, editor and producer known for his works in Hindi, Telugu, and Marathi cinema. In 1999, Reddy made his foray into cinema as an assistant cinematographer under Ajayan Vincent. In 2018 he directed the Marathi feature film Naal, for which he fetched the National Film Award for Best First Film of a Director.

SIIMA Award for Best Cinematographer – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards, for the best cinematography done by a person in Telugu films. The award was first given in 2012 for films released in 2011.

<i>Andhagan</i> Upcoming film by Thiagarajan

Andhagan is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language black comedy crime thriller film co-written and directed by Thiagarajan. A remake of the 2018 Hindi film Andhadhun, it stars Prashanth, Karthik, Simran, Priya Anand and Samuthirakani. The film revolves around a blind pianist who unwittingly becomes embroiled in a murder.
