Rajeev Ravi is an Indian cinematographer, director, and producer from Kochi, Kerala. He's best known for his work in Hindi and Malayalam films. [1] After graduating from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune in 1997, he started his career by assisting in the Malayalam film, Pranayavarnangal (1998) shot by Santosh Thundiyil. He debuted as a cinematographer with the film Chandni Bar (2001), when he was launched by producer R. Mohan (GoodKnight Mohan) when the original cinematographer Venu had date clashes. The film was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar.[ citation needed ]

Ravi is known for his collaboration with director Anurag Kashyap. They have collaborated in several commercial and art films in Hindi cinema. [2] In 2012, he co-produced the Hindi feature film ID. The film premiered in the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea. [3] Ravi won the 2010 Filmfare Award for Best Cinematography for Anurag Kashyap's Dev.D . [4] In 2013, he received the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for Liar's Dice directed by his wife Geetu Mohandas. [5] [6]

Rajeev made his debut as a director with the Malayalam film Annayum Rasoolum (2013). [7] Rajeev Ravi's second feature film, Njan Steve Lopez was released in 2014. In March 2016, Ravi completed filming of Kammatipaadam , starring Dulquer Salman, which was released on 20 May 2016. [8] [9]

Annayum Rasoolum is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film directed by Rajeev Ravi and written by Santhosh Echikkanam from a story by Ravi. Set in Vypin islands in Kerala, the plot revolves around a star-crossed romance between Rasool, a Muslim taxi driver, and Anna, a Latin Christian salesgirl, both from conservative working class families. The songs and background score were composed by K.

Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language road adventure film directed and co-produced by Sameer Thahir and written by Hashir Mohamed. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Wayne with Dhritiman Chatterjee, Surja Bala Hijam in supporting roles. The movie was a hit at the Kerala box office and has since developed a cult following among the youth of Kerala. The film began shooting in the north-eastern state of Nagaland in February 2013 and completed its shoot in June 2013. The film was shot at real locations in eight Indian states, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Nagaland and Sikkim.

Earlier he worked as a still photographer and then as an associate to cinematographer turned director Shaji N. Karun. His important works included Deshadanam (1996), Karunam (1999) Naalu Pennungal (2007), Veettilekkulla Vazhi (2010) and Akasathinte Niram. His films were screened at several prominent film festivals around the world including Cannes, Shanghai, Cairo, Montreal, Telluride, Jeonju, Toronto, Chicago, Rhode Island and Rotterdam. One of his works, Marana Simhasanam, won Caméra d'Or in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival. Moothon, also known internationally as The Elder One, is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film written and directed by Geetu Mohandas, and jointly produced by S. Vinod Kumar, Anurag Kashyap, Ajay G. Rai and Alan McAlex. Featuring a bilingual narrative in the Jeseri dialect of Malayalam and Arabic, the film stars Nivin Pauly, Shashank Arora, Sobhita Dhulipala, Melissa Raju Thomas, Sanjana Dipu and Roshan Mathew. Murali G. is an Indian cinematographer who works mainly in Tamil cinema and Telugu cinema. An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, he won the National Film Award for Best Non-Feature Film Cinematography in 2011.

B. Ajithkumar is an Indian film editor and director. He has won the National Award for Best Editing in 2007 for Naalu Pennungal as well as the Kerala State Film Award for Best Editor in 2002, 2013 for Annayum Rasoolum, and 2017 . Ajithkumar graduated from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. After graduating, he started his career as film editor. His debut directorial film was Eeda, which depicts the violent political atmosphere of Kannur.

Madhu Neelakandan, sometimes spelled Madhu Neelakantan is an Indian cinematographer and film producer in Malayalam and Bollywood cinema. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Cinematography in 2012 for Annayum Rasoolum and in 2021 for Churuli. He is a part of Collective Phase One, a creative group that has produced films such as ID and Njan Steve Lopez. He has done his PG diploma in cinematography from film and television institute of India, Pune.

Pramod Thomas is an Indian audio engineer and sound designer from Pandalam, Kerala. He is best known for his work on Hindi and Malayalam films such as Anurag Kashyap's Dev.D (2009) and Shankar's Enthiran (2010). After graduating from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, he started his career in sound simultaneously in the Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil film industry since his debut in the late 1990s.
