Shih Hsin University is a renowned university with a history of nearly seven decades. SHU is best known for its media and mass communication departments in Taiwan, founded in Muzha, Taipei in 1956. SHU ranked 22nd overall among top 30 liberal arts Universities in Taiwan in 2020 and secured the top 20 spot in 2021. SHU featured in the special category universities in 2022.
Cimei Township is a rural township in Penghu County, Taiwan. The island is the fifth largest in the Pescadores (Penghu) and the southernmost island in the group. It is the smallest township in Penghu County.

The 2017 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXIX Summer Universiade and commonly called Taipei 2017, was a multi-sport event, sanctioned by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), held in the city of Taipei, Taiwan. It took place from August 19 to August 30, 2017.

Feng Shih-kuan is a Taiwanese politician. He served in the Republic of China Air Force from 1967 to 2006, retiring with the rank of General before assuming the post of Minister of National Defense in 2016. Feng stepped down in 2018 and was succeeded by Yen Teh-fa.

Joseph Hsu King-shing also transliterated as Hsu King-Seng was a Chinese professional football player and manager. Born in Shanghai, Hsu moved to Hong Kong to continue his professional career and never returned to the mainland China to play nor coach. He coached both Hong Kong and Republic of China (Taiwan), as well as managed Singtao for more than a decade.
Tang Chia-hung is a Taiwanese artistic gymnast. He won the gold medal in the horizontal bar and the silver medal in the floor exercise at the 2018 Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The 2021–22 Taoyuan Leopards season was the franchise's 1st season in the T1 League. The Leopards were coached by Wang Chih-Chun in his first year as head coach, with Su Yi-Chieh as their general manager. On April 10, 2022, the Leopards announced that Wang Chih-Chun resigned from head coach, and named Su Yi-Chieh as their interim head coach. On May 16, the Leopards announced Liu Chia-Fa, the skills consultant of the Taoyuan Leopards, as their new head coach.

The 2022–23 New Taipei CTBC DEA season was the franchise's 2nd season in the T1 League. The DEA were coached by Lee Yi-Hua in his second year as head coach, with Chang Shu-Jen as their general manager. On September 5, 2022, the T1 League named Chang Shu-Jen, the general manager of the New Taipei CTBC DEA, as their new secretary general. And the DEA named Liu Chih-Wei, the general manager of the CTBC Brothers, as their new general manager.
The 2023–24 Taipei Taishin Mars season is the franchise's 1st season in the T1 League. The Mars are coached by Brian Adams in his first year as head coach, with Lin You-Ting as their general manager. On December 31, the Mars announced that Brian Adams resigned from head coach. On January 3, 2024, the Mars named Hsu Hao-Cheng, the assistant coach of the Taipei Taishin Mars, as their interim head coach.
