The 2017 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXIX Summer Universiade and commonly called Taipei 2017, was a multi-sport event, sanctioned by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), held in the city of Taipei, Taiwan. It took place from August 19 to August 30, 2017.
Athletics was contested at the 2017 Summer Universiade from August 23 to 28 at the Taipei Municipal Stadium in Taipei, Taiwan.
Badminton was contested at the 2017 Summer Universiade from August 23 to 29 in Taipei, Taiwan, in the Taipei Gymnasium. Men's and women's singles, men's, women's, and mixed doubles, and mixed team events will be contested.
Fencing was contested at the 2017 Summer Universiade from August 20 to 25 at the National Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
Golf was contested at the 2017 Summer Universiade from 24 to 26 August at the Sunrise Golf and Country Club in Taoyuan, Taiwan. All the final round on 27 August was cancelled due to the thunderstorm, all the results are calculated to round 3 only.
