The International Gymnastics Federation is the governing body of competitive gymnastics. Its headquarters is in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was founded on July 23, 1881, in Liège, Belgium, making it the world's oldest existing international sports organisation. Originally called the European Federation of Gymnastics, it had three member countries—Belgium, France and the Netherlands—until 1921, when non-European countries were admitted and it received its current name.
Vanessa Ferrari is an Italian artistic gymnast. She was the 2006 World All-Around Champion and competed for Italy at the 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal on floor exercise in 2020. In doing so, Ferrari became the first Italian to win an individual Olympic medal in Women's Artistic Gymnastics, and the first medallist for the Italian women's team since the 1928 Summer Olympics. She is a five-time World medalist and eight-time European medalist, and is currently the most decorated Italian gymnast of all-time.
Larisa Andreea Iordache is a former Romanian artistic gymnast. She represented Romania at the 2012 Olympic Games, winning a bronze medal with the team, and at the 2020 Olympic Games.
Elisabeth Seitz is a German artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 World bronze medalist on the uneven bars. She is one of the only female gymnasts in history to compete the Def release, and her eponymous skill, a full-twisting Maloney. Seitz has also had success in the individual all-around event, where she is the 2011 European silver medalist and an eight-time German national champion. She is a three-time Olympian, representing Germany at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where she led her team to a sixth-place finish and placed fourth in the uneven bars final, and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Giulia Steingruber is a retired Swiss artistic gymnast. She is the 2016 Olympic and 2017 World bronze medalist on vault. Additionally she is the 2015 European all-around champion, a four-time European vault champion and the 2016 European floor exercise champion.
Elissa Rebecca "Ellie" Downie is an artistic gymnast who represents Great Britain. She is the All-around 2017 European gymnastics champion, the first gymnast to win a major all-around title for Great Britain.
Nikita Vladimirovich Nagornyy is a Russian artistic gymnast and two-time Olympian, representing Russia in 2016 and ROC in 2020. He was part of the teams who won gold at the 2020 Olympic Games and 2019 World Championships and silver at the 2016 Olympic Games and 2018 World Championships.
Liu Yang is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He is the 2020 Olympic and 2014 World champion on rings. He was a member of the Chinese team who won gold at the 2014 World Championships and also won bronze in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics.
Sanne Wevers is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She has competed internationally as a senior since 2007, primarily as a balance beam and uneven bars specialist. Wevers is the 2016 Olympic and 2018 European champion on balance beam and was the first Dutch female gymnast to become an individual Olympic champion. She is also the 2015 World and 2021 European silver medalist on balance beam and the 2015 European bronze medalist on uneven bars.
Nina Derwael is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic champion, a two-time World champion, and a two-time European champion on the uneven bars. She is also the 2019 European Games champion on the balance beam as well as a two-time Belgian national all-around champion.
Oliver Nicola Hegi is a Swiss male artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. He participated at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow, and qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Bart Deurloo is a Dutch male artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. He participated in four editions of the World Championships, and 2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, where he won the bronze on high bar in Montreal. and qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Loan Válerie His is a retired French artistic gymnast. She represented France at the 2016 Summer Olympics and helped the French team finish eleventh. She won a bronze medal with the French team at the 2016 European Championships. She also competed at the 2015 World Championships.
Ludovico Edalli is an Italian male artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and 2020 Summer Olympics.
Mikhail "Misha" Koudinov is a New Zealand male artistic gymnast, representing his nation in international competitions.
Ana Đerek is a Croatian female artistic gymnast, representing her nation in international competitions. She participated at the 2015 World Championships in Glasgow, and eventually qualified for 2016 Summer Olympics through the test event, held four months earlier in Rio de Janeiro.
David Jessen is a Czech male artistic gymnast, representing his nation in international competitions. He participated at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow, and qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics, securing one of the spots available at the Olympic Test Event in Rio de Janeiro. He will be competing in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Artur Grachyevich Dalaloyan is a Russian artistic gymnast who represented ROC at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He was part of the teams who won gold at the 2020 Olympic Games and 2019 World Championships and silver at the 2018 World Championships. Individually Dalaloyan is the 2018 World All-Around Champion and the 2019 World All-Around silver medalist. He is a nine-time World medalist and a five-time European champion.
Caterina Barloggio is a retired Swiss artistic gymnast. She competed in three European Championships and four World Championships.
John Brody Malone is an American artistic gymnast who represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He is the 2021 World Championships bronze medalist on Horizontal Bar and is the 2021 U.S. National Champion. He is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team. He is also a seven-time NCAA National Champion.
