Christian Gamarino (born 18 June 1994 in Genoa) is an Italian motorcycle racer. [1] He currently competes in the CIV Superbike Championship aboard a BMW S1000RR. He has previously competed in the Supersport World Championship and the European Superstock 600 Championship.

Career

European Superstock 600 Championship

Gamarino made his European Superstock 600 Championship debut in 2011. He had a difficult rookie season and scored points in four races. His best finish of the season was a ninth-place finish at Misano. Gamarino finished 25th in the Championship. [2] 2012 proved to be a breakthrough season for Gamarino as he finished eighth in the Championship with 61 points. He also scored his first podium finish at Misano. [3] In 2013 Gamarino won his first Superstock 600 race at Silverstone. He contended for the Championship but eventually finished third to Franco Morbidelli and Alessandro Nocco.

Supersport World Championship

In 2014 Gamarino stepped up to the Supersport World Championship riding a Kawasaki ZX-6R for Team Go Eleven. He finished 15th in the championship scoring 27 points. Gamarino had a very consistent 2015 season and finished 10th in the Championship. Gamarino had a challenging 2016 season and dropped to 19th in the standings. He did however scored a career best finish of fourth at the season opener in Phillip Island.

Gábor Talmácsi Hungarian motorcycle racer

Gábor Talmácsi is a Hungarian former professional motorcycle racer. He was the 2007 125cc World Champion, and he is the first and only Hungarian to win a road racing World Championship. He has a younger brother, Gergő, who is also a motorcycle racer. Due to a leg injury suffered in 2013, Talmácsi has retired from racing professionally. After retiring from racing, he set up his own team Talmácsi Racing, which competed in the European Superstock 600 Championship and raced with Honda CBR600RRs, until the series folded at the end of 2015.

Anthony West (motorcyclist) Australian motorcycle racer

Anthony "Ant" Keith West,, is an Australian motorcycle road racer. He most recently raced in the 2019 Brazilian Superbike Championship for the Kawasaki Racing Team. West was suspended from participating at any FIM sanctioned events for 24 months due to testing positive for banned substances from July 8th 2018 to September 14th 2020. In 2018 he competed in the Supersport World Championship, aboard a Kawasaki ZX-6R and in the Asia Road Race SS600 Championship, aboard a Yamaha YZF-R6.

Niccolò Canepa Italian motorcycle racer

Niccolò Canepa is an Italian professional motorcycle road racer competing in the MotoE World Cup aboard an Energica Ego Corsa. Canepa won the 2007 European Superstock 1000 Championship on a Ducati, and spent 2008 as a tester of their MotoGP and World Superbike machines.

Roberto Tamburini is an Italian motorcycle racer. He currently competes in the European Superstock 1000 Championship and the CIV Superbike Championship aboard an BMW S1000RR. He has previously competed in the 125cc class of the Grand Prix Motorcycle World Championship. In 2010 Tamburini raced full-time in the Supersport class of the Italian national championship (CIV), winning the title by 4 points. He also took part in some World Supersport races, the Coppa Italia Yamaha R6 Cup, the Italian Superstock 600 Championship and the Supersport World Championship.

Gino Rea British motorcycle racer

Gino Daniel Rea is an English motorcycle racer of Italian descent. In 2020 he competed in the FIM Endurance World Championship with Wojcik Racing Yamaha, finishing 4th in the World Championship Standings and joined the British Superbike Championship aboard a Suzuki GSX-R1000R with the Buildbase Suzuki team to replace an injured rider. Rea participated in Wojcik Racing's first ever Podium in the FIM EWC at the Bol d'Or 24hr, finishing in second position and winning the Dunlop Independent Cup, following that up with another podium at the Estoril 12hr EWC race. Rea joined the Buildbase Suzuki team as a substitute rider at the fourth British Superbike race of the 2020 season. Rea went on to lead his first BSB race at Donington Park, finishing in 4th position across the line.
