The 2012 European Superstock 600 Championship was the eighth season of the European Superstock 600 Championship. The season was contested over ninth races, beginning at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari on 1 April and ending at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours on 7 October. Michael Van Der Mark won the title after beating Riccardo Russo.

Niccolò Canepa is a former Italian professional motorcycle road racer contracted from 2022 to RNF Racing in the MotoE World Cup aboard an Energica Ego Corsa. Canepa won the 2007 European Superstock 1000 Championship on a Ducati, and spent 2008 as a tester of their MotoGP and World Superbike machines.

The European Superstock 1000 Championship, formerly FIM Superstock 1000 Cup or Superstock 1000 FIM Cup, was a supporting class to the Superbike World Championship.

James Lodge is a British motorcycle racer who was a two-time British 125 cc champion 2009 and 2010. Lodge also rode two wildcard races in the 125 cc category at the British rounds of 2009 and 2010 World Championships, failing to finish both times. Lodge competed in the National Superstock 600 Championship in 2014. He gained his first podium in the class at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit at the first race of the 2012 season.

The 2011 National Superstock 600 Championship season was the fourth season of the British National Superstock 600 Championship. The motorcycles are stock 600cc bikes, this means that not many racing modifications can be made to the bikes, to promote a close and affordable racing environment. The class is strictly for riders aged 16–25, with riders that finish the previous year in the top three of the championship are not eligible for the following season.

Danilo Carlo Petrucci is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer who has competed in the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship with Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati New York. After losing his KTM ride in MotoGP at the end of the 2021 season, he entered the 2022 Dakar Rally with a Tech3 KTM rally raid 450 cc machine in January 2022.

Bryan Schouten is a Dutch former motorcycle racer who retired at the end of the 2017 season. Schouten is a former winner of the Dutch ONK 125GP Championship and the Dutch ONK Moto3 Championship, and has also competed in the German IDM 125GP Championship, the German IDM Moto3 Championship, the Spanish CEV Moto3 series and the European Superstock 600 Championship. He won the IDM Superstock 600 Championship in 2016, but even as a champion he could not find the resources to start in 2017. He decided to stop his career, however, less than a week later, Schouten returned to his decision when Ten Kate Racing Products approached him for testing the new Honda CBR-1000RR SP2 and started in the (Dutch) NK SuperCup 1000. After one season, Schouten has decided to start his social career at the age of 23 years. But his dreams are that there will be time and opportunities to help young riders in the future - maybe even on a part-time schedule.

Luca Vitali is an Italian motorcycle racer. His father, Maurizio Vitali, is a former motorcycle racer. He currently competes in the European Superstock 1000 Championship for aboard an Aprilia RSV4. He previously competed in the 125cc World Championship, the FIM CEV International Moto2 Championship, the CIV Stock 600 Championship, the CIV 125GP Championship and the European Superstock 600 Championship.

The European Superstock 600 Championship was a support class to the Superbike World Championship at the European rounds. The championship used 600 cc production motorcycles and was reserved for riders between 15 and 24 years of age. Same rules as FIM Superstock 1000 Cup applied, but the series was organized by FIM Europe. In November 2015 the championship was discontinued as a result of the creation of a new European sub-series to be held within the Supersport World Championship and changes in the Supersport technical regulations.

The 2014 European Superstock 600 Championship was the tenth season of the European Superstock 600 Championship. The season was contested over seven rounds, beginning on 12 April at Motorland Aragón in Spain, and concluding on 4 October at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France.

Leandro Denis "Tati" Mercado is a motorcycle racer from Argentina who competed in the 2022 Superbike World Championship aboard a Honda CBR1000RR for Team MIE Racing. He is best known for winning the National title of the AMA Supersport Championship in 2009 and the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup in 2014.

He has also competed in the Superbike World Championship, the Supersport World Championship and the CIV Superbike Championship. He currently competes in the European Superstock 1000 Championship aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10R.

Ignacio "Nacho" Calero Pérez is a Spanish motorcycle racer. He currently races in the Supersport World Championship aboard a Kawasaki ZX-6R.

Christian Gamarino is an Italian motorcycle racer. He currently competes in the CIV Superbike Championship aboard a BMW S1000RR. He has previously competed in the Supersport World Championship and the European Superstock 600 Championship. In 2022 FIM Endurance World Championship he rides for Team 33 Louit April Moto in superstock category.

Illia Mykhalchyk, is a motorcycle racer from Kyiv, Ukraine, who has competed in the 2022 FIM Endurance World Championship and Superbike World Championship with BMW Motorrad.
