Christina Jackson

Christina Jackson is a British civil engineer specializing in geotechnical engineering. She is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and Professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Birmingham. Her work has included coordinating the treatment of abandoned limestone workings in the Black Country, leading land reclamation and contributing to major works on the M40 and M6 Toll. [1] Jackson became the first woman elected chair at the Institution of Civil Engineers West Midlands in 2004. [2] [3]

Jackson received a BSc from the University of Leeds and a master's degree from Cornell University, in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering respectively.
