Christina Pazsitzky (born June 18, 1976), known by her stage name Christina P, [1] is a Canadian-born American stand-up comedian, podcaster, writer, host and TV personality. Pazsitzky co-hosts the Your Mom's House podcast with her husband, comedian Tom Segura, and also hosts the Where My Moms At? podcast.

Early life

Pazsitzky was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Hungarian parents who had escaped from Hungary in 1969. [2] Her family relocated to the United States in her early childhood, settling in Southern California, where she was raised. [3] [4] Before turning to comedy, Pazsitzky studied philosophy at the University of San Francisco (graduating in 1999) and the University of Oxford, then briefly attended a law school for two weeks. [5] [6]

Career

Pazsitzky's TV debut was in 1998 as a cast member of MTV's Road Rules: Down Under .

Pazsitzky was a member of the Deathsquad Network of stand-up comedians. [7]

Pazsitzky has performed in the Middle East, Africa, and South Korea with USO tours. [8]

In 2012, Your Mom's House was one of the six nominees in the Best Comedy category at the first annual Stitcher Awards for podcasts. [9]

In 2018, Pazsitzky and Segura landed a TV deal with CBS, who gave a pilot production commitment for their show The Little Things. [10]

Pazsitzky hosts Where My Moms At?, a comedy podcast based around real issues in the world of motherhood. Episodes often feature guests from the world of entertainment and pop culture, such as Hila Klein, Alyssa Milano, Alison Rosen, and LeeAnn Kreischer, wife of comedian Bert Kreischer.

Personal life

In early 2020, Pazsitzky and Segura bought a $6.7 million mansion in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. [11]

Pazsitzky and Segura moved to Austin, Texas in 2021. [12]

The article also served as inspiration for the 2002 film National Lampoon's Van Wilder. <i>Your Moms House</i> Comedy podcast

Your Mom's House is a comedy podcast hosted by married comedians Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky. The podcast was started in 2010 and covers a wide range of topics such as ongoing events, comedy, and the daily life of the two co-hosts—interspersed with toilet humor, running jokes, and commentary on unusual or shocking internet videos. This includes creating "YMH Celebrities" by repeatedly playing videos of nicknamed, socially-untypical members of the public, in "a modern variation of the regular callers into The Howard Stern Show." The comedians typically stay away from political discussions, and the majority of their guests are fellow comedians. Additionally YMH Studios produces a number of podcasts on their network, including "2 Bears 1 Cave,""Dr. Drew After Dark," and "The Danny Brown Show." <i>Cum Town</i> American comedy podcast (2016–2022)

Cum Town was a comedy podcast that was hosted by New York City-based comedians Nick Mullen, Stavros Halkias, and Adam Friedland, and produced between 2016 and 2022. During its run, it was consistently one of the most popular podcasts on Patreon and concluded as one of the top 25 comedy podcasts on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. In July 2022, it was succeeded by Mullen and Friedland's spin-off podcast and interview show The Adam Friedland Show.
