Stacie Joy Orrico is an American singer and songwriter. After signing to ForeFront Records, Orrico recorded her first album, Genuine (2000), which sold 13,000 units in its first week of release.

Genuine earned generally mixed reviews and peaked at number 103 on the US Billboard 200. Additional recording sessions with mainstream producers Dallas Austin and The Underdogs led to a different musical direction however and resulted in the renaming of the project. Stylistically, the album mixes the singer's native Christian music with more pop and R&B styles, but also features incorporation of teen pop and dance music.

Conceived during a longer hiatus during which Orrico returned to Seattle and took a waitressing job at a seafood restaurant after bouts with exhaustion following her international breakthrough with her self-titled second album (2003) and subsequent touring, the singer consulted a variety of musicians to work with her on new material. In June 2012, Pentatonix released their first extended play, PTX, Volume 1 through Sony-owned independent record label Madison Gate Records. Everyday Is Christmas is the eighth studio album and first Christmas album by Australian singer-songwriter Sia, released on 17 November 2017 by Atlantic Records and Monkey Puzzle. Her first album with Atlantic, it features original Christmas songs. Initially released with ten tracks in 2017, the album has since been reissued in 2018, 2021, and 2022 with new bonus tracks each time. The lead single, "Santa's Coming for Us", was released on 30 October 2017, and "Snowman" was released as the second on 9 November.
