Christopher Clancy (born 1964) is an Irish retired hurler. He lined out with club side St. Catherine's, divisional team Imokilly, and at the inter-county level with Cork.
Clancy first played hurling as a schoolboy at St. Colman's College in Fermoy, lining out in various competitions including the Harty Cup. [1] He later lined out with Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, while simultaneously beginning adult club hurling with St. Catherine's. [2] [3] After winning two East Cork JAHC titles, Clancy was the top scorer when the club won the Cork JHC title in 1983. [4] He also earned selection to the Imokilly divisional team around this time. Clancy won a Cork IHC medal in 1994 before ending his 20-year club career in 2001.
Clancy first played for Cork as a member of the minor team in 1982. [5] He was overlooked for the under-21 team but made a number of appearances for the senior team in various tournaments and trial games in 1986 and 1987. [6] Clancy later joined the junior team and won a Munster JHC medal in 1992 before lining out in the subsequent All-Ireland final defeat by Wexford. [7]
Clancy qualified as a primary school teacher and worked in various schools in Cork. He joined the staff of St Kevin's National School in Littleton, County Tipperary in 1990, eventually becoming principal before his retirement in 2020. [8]
Ballybacon–Grange GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the areas of Goatenbridge and Ardfinnan in County Tipperary, Ireland. The club plays hurling in the Intermediate competitions at county level and in the South division of Tipperary GAA. The club has a fraternal co-existence with Ardfinnan Gaelic Football Club which is also affiliated to the GAA. As a consequence, some club hurlers also play football with Ardfinnan GAA.
Thaddeus "Teddy" McCarthy was an Irish hurler and Gaelic footballer who played as a midfielder at senior level for the Cork county football and hurling teams. In an eleven-year senior inter-county playing career, McCarthy played for the Cork senior hurling and football teams, winning major honours with both. He is the only male dual player to win All-Ireland senior hurling and football medals in a single year.
Timothy Crowley is an Irish former hurler. At club level he played with Newcestown and divisional side Carbery and was also a member of the Cork senior hurling team.
Peter Doolan is an Irish former sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club St Finbarr's and was a member at senior level of the Cork county team from 1962 until 1968.

Laurence Kiely is an Irish former hurler and show jumping rider. At club level he played with a number of sides, including Gortnahoe–Glengoole and Military College, and was also a member of the Tipperary senior hurling team. Kiely was also a member of the Army Equitation School and represented Ireland on a number of occasions.
William Campbell was an Irish hurler and selector. At club level he played with Midleton, Sarsfield's, Portlaw and St Finbarr's and was also played at senior level for the Cork and Waterford county hurling teams.
Patrick Kavanagh is an Irish former hurler. He enjoyed a 20-year club career, lining out with Rower–Inistioge, University College Dublin and Borris–Ileigh, and was also a member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team.
Timothy O'Sullivan was an Irish hurler. At club level he played with Midleton, Blackrock, St Finbarr's and Castlemartyr and was also a member of the Cork senior hurling team.
Edward Porter was an Irish hurler. At club level he played with Brian Dillons, Glen Rovers and Seandún and was also a member of the Cork senior hurling team. Porter usually lined out as a goalkeeper.
Tadhg Murphy is an Irish former hurler and Gaelic footballer. At club level he played with Glanmire, Sarsfields and Imokilly and was a member of the Cork senior teams as a dual player. Murphy is best remembered for scoring a last-minute goal to deny Kerry a record ninth successive title in the 1983 Munster final.
Séamus Harnedy is an Irish hurler who plays for East Cork Championship club St Ita's, divisional side Imokilly and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a centre-forward.

Bartholomew Murphy was an Irish hurler and Gaelic footballer. He lined out with club sides Sarsfields and Glanmire, and at the inter-county level with Cork. Murphy also served as an administrator and selector.
Brendan Walsh was an Irish hurler. At club level he played with Killeagh, divisional side Imokilly, and also lined out at inter-county level with various Cork teams.
