Incheon, formerly Jemulpo or Chemulp'o (Korean: 제물포) until the period after 1910, officially the Incheon Metropolitan City (인천광역시), is a city located in northwestern South Korea, bordering Seoul and Gyeonggi Province to the east. Inhabited since the Neolithic, Incheon was home to just 4,700 people when it became an international port in 1883. Today, about 3 million people live in the city, making it South Korea's third-most-populous city after Seoul and Busan.
Bucheon is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Bucheon is located 25 kilometers (16 mi) away from Seoul, of which it is a satellite city. It is located between Incheon and Seoul.
Seoul Subway Line 7 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway was built from 1990 to 1996 and was completed on August 1, 2000 ; the western section between Sinpung and Onsu was put into service on February 29, 2000. This north-south line does not run through the city centre but links Gangnam directly to the northeastern districts of Seoul. In 2019, Line 7 had an annual ridership of 380 million or 1.04 million passengers per day. Although most trains run between Jangam and Seongnam, some trains short turn at Onsu station and some trains start at Dobongsan station.
The Incheon Subway is a subway system serving the South Korean city of Incheon. The system is operated by Incheon Transit Corporation, and is part of the greater Seoul Metropolitan Subway.
Incheon Subway Line 1 is a 30.3-kilometer (18.8 mi) north-south subway line, part of the Incheon Subway system. The line is also included as a part of the overall Seoul Metropolitan Subway network; Bupyeong Station has a free transfer with Seoul Subway Line 1, Gyeyang Station connects with the AREX Line which leads to Incheon International Airport and Seoul Station, Bupyeong-gu Office Station has a free transfer with Seoul Subway Line 7, and Woninjae Station has a free transfer with the Suin-Bundang Line.
T-money (Korean: 티머니) is a rechargeable series of smart cards and other "smart" devices used for paying transportation fares in South Korea. T-money can also be used in lieu of cash or credit cards in some convenience stores and other businesses. The T-money System has been implemented and is being operated by T-money Co., Ltd of which 34.4% owned by Seoul Special City Government, 31.85% owned by LG CNS, and 15.73% owned by Credit Card Union.
Incheon Station is the western terminus railway station of the Suin–Bundang and Gyeongin lines of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The station is in the Bukseong neighborhood of the Jung District, Incheon, South Korea and is approximately 20 kilometers west of Seoul. Established in 1899 under the Korean Empire as Chemulpo Station, Incheon Station is the oldest train station in the Seoul Capital Area. During the Japanese occupation of Korea, the station was briefly named Hainchon Station and the original station building was destroyed during the Korean War. Service for the old Suin Line began in 1937 and ended in 1995; the new Suin Line was extended to the station in 2016. Service for the Gyeongin Line began in 1974.
Bupyeong station is a subway station located in Bupyeong District, Incheon, South Korea. This station is on the Seoul Subway Line 1 and Incheon Subway Line 1. It is one of the busiest stations on the Incheon line because of its central location and its connection to the Seoul line.
Bupyeong District is one of the 10 administrative divisions that comprise Incheon, South Korea. Bupyeong District comprises an area of 12.35 square miles, and has a population of 508,587. It is located north of Namdong District, east of Seo District, and south of Gyeyang District. The city of Bucheon, in neighboring Gyeonggi Province, comprises its eastern limit.

Bupyeong-gu Office Station is a subway station on Line 1 of the Incheon Subway. In May 2021, it was connected to the Seoul Subway Line 7 was is terminal station until the next extension completed in 22 May 2021.
Culture & Arts Center Station, formerly Arts Center Station, is a subway station on Line 1 of the Incheon Subway. It is located next to the Incheon Culture & Arts Center and the Incheon Olympic Park in the Incheon Bus Terminal area of central Incheon.
Incheon National University Station is a subway station on Line 1 of the Incheon Subway in Yeonsu District, Incheon, South Korea. It has four exits connecting it to Incheon National University, nearby hotels, and the east side of Songdo Central Park.

Seongnam Station (석남역) is a subway station on Incheon Subway Line 2 and Seoul Subway Line 7. It first opened as a station on Incheon Subway Line 2 solely in 2016, and Seoul Subway Line 7 opened in May 2021. Despite their identical spelling in the Roman script, the station is not located in the city of Seongnam (성남) southeast of Seoul, as their names in Hangul differ by one letter.
Incheon Grand Park Station is a subway station on Line 2 of the Incheon Subway.
Songdo Moonlight Festival Park station is a Line 1 subway station of the Incheon Subway in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea. It opened on December 12, 2020 and became the terminal station at the same time. It is designed so that the section after the station can pass at a speed of 65 km/h when the route is extended later.
