Claude Drouin PC (born May 26,1956) is a former Canadian politician. He was the member of Parliament representing the riding of Beauce from 1997 to 2006 and was also the Parliamentary Secretary to Prime Minister Paul Martin with special emphasis on Rural Communities.
Born in Frampton,Quebec,Canada,Drouin is a former foreman and political advisor. He was elected as an MP for the riding of Beauce as a candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada in the 1997 election. He is a former member of the Canadian Air Force.

Antoine-Charles Taschereau was a government official, land developer, and political figure in Lower Canada and Canada East, Province of Canada. He represented Beauce in the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada from 1830 to 1838, sometimes voting with the government and sometimes with the Parti patriote, including voting for the Ninety-Two Resolutions. He opposed the union of Lower Canada and Upper Canada into the Province of Canada. Following the union, he represented Dorchester in the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada from 1841 to 1844, as an anti-unionist and member of the French-Canadian Group.
Beauce was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly of the Parliament of the Province of Canada in Canada East, in a rural area south of Quebec City bordering on the United States. From 1841 to 1854, Beauce county had been included in the riding of Dorchester. In 1853, the provincial Parliament enacted a redistribution statute which enlarged the Legislative Assembly, from forty-two seats to sixty-five. The Beauce area was split off from Dorchester and made a separate riding. It was represented by one member in the Legislative Assembly.
