Clifford Geoffrey Hall (19 January 1902 —9 July 1982) was an English first-class cricketer.
Hall was born in January 1902 at Breamore,Hampshire. Hall made his debut in first-class cricket for Hampshire against Middlesex at Portsmouth in the 1933 County Championship. His next appearance for Hampshire came in the 1935 County Championship,in which Hall made four appearances. [1] In his five matches for Hampshire,he scored 77 runs at an average of exactly 11,with a highest score of 37. [2] He was later on the ground staff with Wiltshire,but did not feature for the county in minor counties cricket. [3] Hall died at Breamore in July 1982.

Hampshire teams formed by earlier organisations,principally the Hambledon Club,always had first-class status and the same applied to the county club when it was founded in 1863. Because of poor performances for several seasons until 1885,Hampshire then lost its status for nine seasons until it was invited into the County Championship in 1895,since when the team have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England. Hampshire originally played at the Antelope Ground,Southampton until 1885 when they relocated to the County Ground,Southampton until 2000,before moving to the purpose-built Rose Bowl in West End,which is in the Borough of Eastleigh. The club has twice won the County Championship,in the 1961 and 1973 seasons.

James Andrew Tomlinson is an English former cricketer. A left-arm medium pace bowler,capable of producing swing at a brisk pace,Tomlinson first appeared in senior cricket for the Hampshire Cricket Board in List A cricket in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. He first appeared for Hampshire in first-class cricket in 2002,at this stage of career he had to work his cricket career around his studies at Cardiff University. In 2003 he was Hampshire's recipient of the NBC Denis Compton Award. His early career with Hampshire was beset by injury,which limited his appearances. By 2008,Tomlinson had established himself in the Hampshire team,mostly as a specialist first-class player. It was in this season that he became the first Hampshire bowler since Malcolm Marshall to end the season as the leading wicket taker in the County Championship,finishing with 67 wickets.
Christopher Heseltine was an English Test cricketer,cricket administrator,and British Army officer. Heseltine made his debut in first-class cricket for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in 1892,a club he would go on to have a long association with in both a playing and administrative capacity. He played his county cricket for Hampshire County Cricket Club between 1895 and 1914,developing late as a successful fast bowler in first-class cricket. A close acquaintance of Lord Hawke,he accompanied him on three tours abroad,including to South Africa in 1895–96,making two Test match appearances for England against South Africa,in which he took a five wicket haul on debut. During his first-class career he played in 79 matches and took 170 wickets. He was later a member of the MCC committee and had two spells as president of Hampshire.

Major Wilfrid Lionel Foster was an English Army officer and a first-class cricketer:a right-handed batsman who played for Worcestershire County Cricket Club in their early years as a first-class team. He was one of the seven Foster brothers,all of whom played first-class cricket for the county. Foster also appeared for Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and the Gentlemen. He was also an amateur footballer,turning out for Corinthian.
David John Balcombe is an English former cricketer who played primarily as a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Balcombe spent the majority of his professional career with Hampshire,but also played first-class cricket for Durham UCCE and Kent. In a career which spanned from 2005 to 2014,he took 196 wickets in first-class cricket.

Edward Mark Sprot was a Scottish first-class cricketer and British Army officer. Following a seven year commission with the King's Shropshire Light Infantry,Sprot played first-class cricket for Hampshire from 1898 to 1914,captaining the county from 1903 to 1914. As a captain,Sprot was known for his dynamic and unusual tactics,which sought to gain positive results from matches. In all,Sprot made 270 appearances in first-class cricket,scoring over 12,000 runs and making thirteen centuries. He additionally took 55 wickets,alongside taking 228 catches in the field. His first-class career came to an end with the beginning of the First World War.
William Geoffrey Lowndes Frith Lowndes,known as Geoffrey Lowndes,was an English first-class cricketer. He played first-class cricket from 1921 to 1936,the majority of which was for Hampshire. He succeeded Lord Tennyson as Hampshire captain in 1934,holding the captaincy for two seasons.
