The 1933 County Championship was the 40th officially organised running of the County Championship. Yorkshire County Cricket Club won the championship title for the third successive year. [1] The method for deciding the championship was changed once again as follows [2] -

The 1982 Schweppes County Championship was the 83rd officially organised running of the County Championship. Middlesex won the Championship title. The Championship was sponsored by Schweppes for the fifth time.
