Clive Mantle (born 3 June 1957) is an English actor. He came to prominence for his role as Little John in the 1980s fantasy series Robin of Sherwood ; he played the role of Dr Mike Barrett in the BBC hospital drama series Casualty and Holby City in the 1990s.

Little John is a companion of Robin Hood who serves as his chief lieutenant and second-in-command of the Merry Men. He is one of only a handful of consistently named characters who relate to Robin Hood and one of the two oldest Merry Men, alongside Much the Miller's Son. His name is an ironic reference to his giant frame, as he is usually portrayed in legend as a huge warrior – a 7-foot-tall (2.1-metre) master of the quarterstaff. In folklore, he fought Robin Hood on a tree bridge across a river on their first meeting.

Pinhead (<i>Hellraiser</i>) Fictional character in the Hellraiser franchise

Pinhead is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the Hellraiser franchise. The character first appeared as an unnamed figure in the 1986 Clive Barker novella The Hellbound Heart. When Clive Barker adapted the novella into the 1987 film Hellraiser, he referred to the character in early drafts as "the Priest" but the final film gave no name. The production and make-up crew nicknamed the character "Pinhead"—derived from his bald head studded with nails—and fans accepted the sobriquet. The name was then used in press materials, tie-in media, and on-screen in some of the film's sequels, although Barker himself despises the moniker.

<i>Jus Like That! A Night Out with Tommy Cooper</i>

Jus' Like That! A Night Out with Tommy Cooper is a stage comedy and entertainment show featuring various comedians and actors as Tommy Cooper. Written by John Fisher and directed by Patrick Ryecart, it appeared at the Edinburgh Festival among others on tour. In 2010, Clive Mantle portrayed Cooper, and others such as Jim Davidson have also done so.

Frozen Assets is a 1978 play by Barrie Keeffe, written for the Royal Shakespeare Company. The play is "about what happens to a youth after he kills a prison guard". A production of the play was put on by director Will MacAdam at the NY Theatre Ensemble in 1983. Clive Mantle starred in a radio adaption of it. A revival of the play was put on by the Shattered Globe Theatre of Chicago under Nick Bowling from January 1999. It was praised by the Chicago Sun-Times as "hugely entertaining", a "marvelous blend of satire and social commentary and class-based screwball comedy". In 1989 Frozen Assets was also staged at the Half Moon Theatre in Stepney, East London with Marc Tufano playing the lead role of Buddy Clark.
