Cole Alexander Swider (born May 8, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Villanova Wildcats and the Syracuse Orange.
Swider grew up in Portsmouth, Rhode Island and attended the St. Andrew's School. [1] Swider was named the Rhode Island Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior after averaging 26.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. [2] He averaged 31 points per game in his senior season. [3] Swider was rated a four-star recruit and committed to play college basketball at Villanova over offers from Syracuse, Xavier and Duke. [4]
Swider began his collegiate career at Villanova. He played in 31 games and started 15 during his sophomore season and averaged 6.1 points and 2.9 rebounds. [5] As a junior, he played in all 25 of Villanova's games and averaged 5.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. After the season, Swider entered the NCAA transfer portal. [6]
Swider ultimately transferred to Syracuse. [7] He became the Orange's starting power forward and averaged 13.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. [8] Following the end of the season, Swider announced that he would be entering the 2022 NBA draft and hiring an agent. [9]
After going unselected in the 2022 NBA draft, Swider signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers on July 1, 2022, splitting time with their G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. [10] Swider joined the L.A. Lakers' 2022 NBA Summer League roster. [11] In his Summer League debut, Swider scored thirteen points, six rebounds and a block in a 100–66 win against the Miami Heat. [12]
On July 26, 2023, the Lakers waived Swider. [13]
On August 11, 2023, Swider signed with the Miami Heat [14] and on October 21, his deal was converted into a two-way contract. [15]

Da'Sean Butler is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is currently an assistant coach for the West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball team. He played college basketball for West Virginia University. Butler was drafted 42nd overall by the Miami Heat in the 2010 NBA draft.
Norris Gene Cole II is an American professional basketball player who last played for the NBA G League Ignite. A 6 ft 2 in tall point guard, he is a two-time NBA champion, winning back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013 with the Miami Heat in his first and second years in the NBA. James Alfred Ennis III is an American professional basketball player who last played for Hebei Xianglan of the Chinese National Basketball League. He played two years of Division 1 college basketball for Long Beach State, where he became a standout as a senior, earning Big West Player of the Year honors. After being selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the 2013 NBA draft, Ennis moved to Australia and joined the Perth Wildcats. There he won an NBL championship and became a Perth favorite. He returned to the United States in 2014 in pursuit of an NBA contract, and subsequently joined the Miami Heat. He went on to spend time with the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans during the 2015–16 season, as well as in the NBA Development League with the Iowa Energy. He re-joined the Grizzlies in July 2016, and was traded to the Pistons in February 2018. He then split the 2018–19 season with the Houston Rockets and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Ryan Curran Arcidiacono is an American professional basketball player for the Windy City Bulls of the NBA G League. Nicknamed "the Arch of Dimes", he attended Neshaminy High School, where he averaged 20.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game as a junior to lead Neshaminy to the PIAA playoffs.
