Coline-Marie Orliac (born 1989) is a harpist from Antibes, France. A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, she has performed with leading orchestras including the Berlin Philharmonic.
Orliac studied at the Nice Conservatoire, [1] receiving two diplomas of musical studies and first prizes in harp and piano. She went on to the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with Judy Loman, former principal of the Toronto Symphony, and Elizabeth Hainen, principal of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She received a Bachelor of Music degree and was awarded the Joan Hutton Landis Award for Excellence in Academics. [2] Ms. Orliac performed frequently with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Curtis Opera Theatre orchestra, and on the Curtis Student Recital Series. While at Curtis, she participated in master classes with María-Luisa Rayan, Isabelle Perrin, Yolanda Kondonassis, Gretchen van Hoesen, and Lionel Party, and she performed in a concert sponsored by the Philadelphia Harp Society. She has also studied with Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche; [3] Judith Liber, former principal harp of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra; Isabelle Moretti from the Paris Conservatoire; Marie-Pierre Langlamet, principal harp of the Berlin Philharmonic; and with Susann McDonald and Elzbieta Szmyt at Indiana University, USA.
In 2006, Ms. Orliac was invited by Claudio Abbado to tour Europe with the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. [4] She has also performed with the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Nice, and the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia choir, [3] and at the Spivakov Festival in Moscow and the 2015 and 2016 Newport Music Festivals. In December 2009, she was invited to perform with the Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Neeme Järvi, [1] and in July 2009, she was a harpist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Simon Rattle at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. [1] During the festival, she was also part of the Académie Européene de Musique where she performed chamber music with Jeremy Findler and Luiz Filipe Coelho. Two months prior to this, Ms. Orliac was invited to become a member of the Dolce Suono Chamber Music Concert Series, where she regularly performs with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
At the Seventh and Tenth USA International Harp Competition, she was a top prize winner [4] [7] and was twice awarded the Mario Falcao Prize for best performance of the piece written for the competition. She also won first prize in the 2005 UFAM International Harp Competition and second prize in the Vera Dulova Harp Competition in Moscow — the first French harpist ever to receive this award.
In 2008, Ms. Orliac was a prize winner of the Concours International de Harpe de la Cité des Arts de Paris and was the only candidate to be awarded a special prize for the best performance of Damase’s “Thème and Variations”. Additionally, she was named a finalist in the Philadelphia Orchestra Albert M. Greenfield Student Competition and won second prize in the Riverside Symphonia Caprio Young Artists Competition in Lambertville, New Jersey. [8] The same year, she was invited to perform harp-trombone duets at the Tenth World Harp Congress in Amsterdam.

Gilad Karni is an Israeli violist who has played in the New York Philharmonic and is currently principal viola in the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich as well as a soloist and player in chamber ensembles. A founder member of the Huberman Quartet, with which he made his debut at Carnegie Hall, he has since appeared there with the Guarneri Quartet.
Gulnara Mashurova was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She started piano studies at the age of 6 and by age 9 was chosen to study harp at the Pre Moscow Conservatory with Natalia Sibor. From 1991 to 1993 she studied with Vera Dulova at the Moscow Conservatory. Mashurova received a bachelor's and master's degree in harp performance from the Juilliard School as a Jerome Green full scholarship recipient studying under Nancy Allen, Principal Harpist of the New York Philharmonic. She received her second Masters in Orchestra Performance with a full scholarship from the Manhattan School of Music studying under Deborah Hoffman, Principal Harpist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
Caroline Léonardelli is a French-Canadian concert harpist. Born in France, she graduated from the Conservatoire de Paris at age of 18 and came to Canada to study at McGill University where she completed an Artist Diploma. Based in Canada's National Capital Region, she performs for CBC national broadcasts and for Radio Canada. Her recordings are featured by Apple Music in the top ten playlist of master harp recordings and her recording label is distributed worldwide by NAXOS. She is the Principal Harpist with the Ottawa Symphony and Orchestre symphonique de Gatineau.
Richard Cecil Giangiulio, is an American trumpet player and conductor. Born in Philadelphia, Giangiulio began trumpet at the age of 10. Educated at the Curtis Institute of Music, The Juilliard School, and Conservatoire de Paris, Giangiulio has achieved international acclaim as a soloist and recording artist. After a brief stint with the Israel Philharmonic and a 32-year tenure as principal trumpet of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, he embarked on a conducting career as founder and music director of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra in 1981, a position he presently holds, intermittently returning to the DSO as guest conductor. Giangiulio is also a successful entrepreneur, having maintained a handmade mute company, TrumCor, Inc., since 1995. Currently, Giangiulio resides in Dallas, Texas, with wife, Maria Schleuning, and dogs, Laika (Лайка) and Cairo.
Lydia Artymiw is native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and an American concert pianist and Emerita Distinguished McKnight Professor of Piano in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota.
Alice Chalifoux was the principal harpist with the Cleveland Orchestra from 1931 to 1974 and was its only female member for twelve years. Chalifoux learned to play the harp from her mother, studying music at local schools before studying under Carlos Salzedo at the Curtis Institute of Music. She was an authority on his music and took over the Salzedo Summer Harp Colony after his death. She had a reputation as a specialist in orchestral harp technique and a master teacher. She taught at the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music. She continued teaching harp until her death in 2008, at the age of 100. Chalifoux received two honorary degrees for her work. In her personal life, Chalifoux married John Gordon Rideout in 1937 and had one daughter.

Boušková is also a professor at the Royal College of Music in London since 2019, the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague since 2007, and she was the harp teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels from 2005 to 2020.
