The Columbia Lions women's squash team is the intercollegiate women's squash team for Columbia University located in New York City, New York. The team competes in the Ivy League under the aegis of the College Squash Association. The team is coached by Jacques Swanepoel, Joanne Schickerling and Chris Sachvie. [2]

Her accomplishments as a player include five British Junior Open titles, four professional tournament wins and runner up in a further two professional events. She also recorded four wins against top 10 players. In fall 2017 she enrolled at Columbia University and plays on the women's team.

The team competes in the Ivy League within the College Squash Association. The team was established in 1956. They play at the Belkin International Squash Courts at the Reis Tennis Center. The head coach is currently Australian former world number 1, David Palmer.

Farida Mohamed, is an Egyptian professional squash player. Farida is known as “The Bazooka” for her power and explosiveness. As of July 2022, she was ranked number 15 in the world. She won the 2018 Growthpoint South Africa Open PSA professional tournament, which was her first appearance on the PSA world tour, beating fellow Egyptian Menna Nasser in the final.

Tanvi Khanna is an Indian female professional squash player and is a regular member of the Indian squash team. She is currently ranked 69 in International rankings and is regarded as one of the finest squash players to have emerged from India. She was ranked as women's no.1 squash player in September 2023. She also plays for Columbia Lions squash team which belongs to the Columbia University. She achieved her highest PSA world ranking of 86 in September 2021 and broke into the top 100 for the first time during the 2019-20 PSA World Tour.

Aparajitha Balamurukan is an Indian female academic and professional squash player who is generally a regular member of the Indian squash team. She achieved her highest career PSA ranking of 77 in August 2010 during the 2010 PSA World Tour.

Anahat Singh is an Indian squash player. At the age of 14, she was the youngest athlete to represent India at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. As of December 2023, she is ranked No. 1 in Asia in the Girls U17 category.
