Connecticut's 145th House district is one of 151 Connecticut House of Representatives districts. It is represented by Corey Paris of Stamford. Prior to the redistricting of 1972, the 145th district was in Norwalk. [1]

In its most conservative form the area consists of the city of Bridgeport and five surrounding towns—Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull. This definition of the Stamford area has a population of more than 305,000 and is within the Stamford -Bridgeport-Norwalk-Danbury metropolitan statistical area, which consists of all of Fairfield County, Connecticut. Gail Lavielle is a former member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, where she represented the 143rd district. The district included parts of Wilton, Norwalk, and, following redistricting in 2012, Westport. Representative Lavielle, an Assistant House Minority Leader, was the House Ranking Member of the Connecticut General Assembly's Appropriations Committee, and served on the Transportation and Education Committees. During her 10 years in the legislature, she also served on the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee and Higher Education Committee and as House Ranking Member of both the Education Committee and the Commerce Committee.

Robert Bruce Duff is an American politician, currently serving as a member of the Connecticut State Senate, where he represents Norwalk and part of Darien in Connecticut's 25th District. He previously served as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 137th District. He is currently Majority Leader of the Connecticut Senate, and serves as chair of the Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee and vice chair of the Legislative Management Committee.

Bruce V. Morris was a six-term Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives representing Norwalk, Connecticut in the 140th assembly district from 2007 to 2019. He was deputy speaker of the House of Representatives and on the following committees: finance revenue and bonding; judiciary; human services; legislative management. He was named assistant majority whip during his second term and served in that capacity until his promotion to deputy majority whip in 2012. Morris served as Chairman of the Connecticut General Assembly Black and Puerto Rican Caucus during the 2015-2016 session. He served the previous three sessions as vice-chairman. Morris serves as an assistant pastor at Macedonia Church in Norwalk. He served as Director of Human Relations for the Norwalk school system beginning November 5, 1998 until September 2016. He then became District School Climate Coordinator until June 30, 2017. He was also an elected executive board member of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators.

Stephanie Thomas is an American politician serving as the Secretary of the State of Connecticut since January 2023. She was elected in 2022, defeating Republican opponent Dominic Rapini. Thomas previously served as a state representative representing the 143rd District in the Connecticut House of Representatives. A member of the Democratic Party, Thomas originally ran for the 143rd seat in 2018 against incumbent Republican Gail Lavielle. Thomas ran again in 2020, defeating Republican challenger Patrizia Zucaro. In the House, Thomas served as a member of both the Commerce and Transportation Committees, as well as the Government Administration and Elections Committee.

Connecticut's 36th State Senate district elects one member of the Connecticut State Senate. The district consists of the towns of Greenwich, North Stamford, and portions of Stamford, New Canaan, and Newfield-Westover-Turn of River. It has been represented by Ryan Fazio since 2021.
