Alessandro "Sandro" Gamba is an Italian former professional basketball player and coach. Gamba was a finalist for induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005, and was elected as a member in 2006. He was inducted in 2006 to the Italian Basketball Hall of Fame.
Dražen "Praja" Dalipagić is a Serbian former professional basketball player and head coach. He was selected the best athlete of Yugoslavia in the year 1978, and is one of the most decorated athletes in Yugoslavian history. He was named one of FIBA's 50 Greatest Players in 1991. Dalipagić was enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player in 2004, and into the FIBA Hall of Fame, also as a player, in 2007. In 2008, he was named one of the 50 Greatest EuroLeague Contributors.
Abdel Moneim Wahby was an Egyptian basketball player who played for Al Ahly, referee and administrator. He played for the Egypt national basketball team in the 1936 Olympics. As a referee, he worked at the 1948 Olympics and 1952 Olympics. He served as the president of the Egyptian Basketball Federation (1952-1969), president of AFABA (1961-1969), Vice President of the FIBA (1961-1968), President of the FIBA (1968-1976) and President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee (1972-1974). He was enshrined as a contributor in the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007.

Traoré was also part of the squad at the 2019 Women's Basketball Africa Championship in Dakar. The national team again finished in 3rd place, earning the bronze medal once again.

Due to his shooting ability, he was nicknamed "Mano Santa". Along with Carlos Quintanar and Manolo Raga, he is generally considered to be one of the two best Mexican basketball players of all time.
Mariano Ortiz Marrero was a Puerto Rican basketball player who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics, in the 1972 Summer Olympics, and in the 1976 Summer Olympics. Ortiz was born in Toa Baja on 25 July 1944. He died on 16 April 2022, at the age of 77.
