Corrado Rustici (born 1957) is an Italian musician, songwriter and producer.
Rustici was a founder member of the Naples-based progressive rock group Cervello. The band recorded the album Melos in 1973, with Rustici on guitar and vocals. In 1975, he joined with members of Osanna, including his brother Danilo, to form the group Nova. In 1976, they recorded the album Blink. For the next two albums Vimana (1976) and Wings of Love (1977), they relocated to London and worked with prominent members of the progressive rock and jazz fusion scenes, including Narada Michael Walden and Phil Collins. Nova's final album, Sun City (1978) was recorded in New York. After the disbandment of Nova, Rustici moved to Los Angeles and started a successful career as a producer and musician collaborating with many artists both in the United States and Italy. These have included Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Zucchero and Elisa.
In 1995, Rustici released his first solo album, The Heartist. His 2006 album, Deconstruction of a Postmodern Musician, features guest artists such as Elisa and Allan Holdsworth. [1] To promote the album Rustici formed the Corrado Rustici Trio with former Jethro Tull keyboardist Peter-John Vettese and jazz fusion drummer Steve Smith. In 2014, the band recorded a live album Blaze and Bloom - Live in Japan. In 2017, Rustici performed at a reunion concert in Tokyo with other original members of Cervello, later to be released as a live CD and DVD titled Cervello - Live in Tokyo 2017. [2] In 2021, Rustici released the album Interfulgent and a single called "The Singing Light" in memory of his brother Danilo. [3]

The night's big winner was USA for Africa's "We Are the World", which won four awards, including Song of the Year which went to Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. It marked the first time in their respective careers that they received the Song of the Year Award. For Richie, it was his sixth attempt in eight years. The other three awards for the latter single were given to the song's producer, Quincy Jones.

Adelmo Fornaciari, more commonly known by his stage name Zucchero Fornaciari or simply Zucchero, is an Italian singer, musician and songwriter. His stage name is the Italian word for "sugar", as his primary school teacher used to call him. His music is largely inspired by gospel, soul, blues and rock music, and alternates between Italian ballads and more rhythmic R&B-boogie-like pieces. He is credited as the "father of Italian blues", introducing blues to the big stage in Italy. He is one of the few European blues artists who still enjoys great international success.

Elisa Toffoli , performing under the mononym Elisa, is an Italian singer-songwriter. She is one of the few Italian musicians who write and record mainly in English. She draws inspiration from many genres such as pop, alternative rock, electronica and trip hop. In Europe she is perhaps most recognised for the single "Come Speak to Me", while American audiences may recognise the song "Dancing" as featured in both the 2006 and 2007 seasons of So You Think You Can Dance. On 18 December 2012, her collaboration with Ennio Morricone, "Ancora qui", was featured in Quentin Tarantino's film Django Unchained and on its soundtrack album, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
David Sancious is an American musician. He was an early member of Bruce Springsteen's backing group, the E Street Band, and contributed to the first three Springsteen albums, and again on Human Touch (1992), Tracks (1998), and Western Stars (2019). Sancious is a multi-instrumentalist but is best known as a keyboard player and guitarist. He left the E Street Band in 1974 to form his own band, Tone, and released several albums. He subsequently became a popular session and touring musician, most notably for Stanley Clarke, Narada Michael Walden, Zucchero Fornaciari, Eric Clapton, Peter Gabriel, Jack Bruce, and Sting among many others. In 2014, Sancious was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E Street Band.

It was written by Jeffrey Cohen and Narada Michael Walden and produced by the latter for Franklin's thirtieth studio album Who's Zoomin' Who? (1985). The song features a notable contribution from Clarence Clemons, the saxophonist from Bruce Springsteen’'s E Street Band. Sylvester, Martha Wash, and Jeanie Tracy provided backup vocals on "Freeway of Love".
