The Wildhearts are an English rock band, formed in 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band's sound is a mixture of hard rock and melodic pop music, often described in the music press as combining influences as diverse as The Beatles and 1980s-era Metallica. The Wildhearts achieved several top 20 singles and one top 10 album in Britain, though they also faced difficulties with record companies and many internal problems often relating to drugs and depression. Much of the band's early career was affected by bitter feuds with their record company, East West.
Wolfsbane are an English rock band. Formed in 1984, the band initially remained active until lead singer Blaze Bayley went on to join Iron Maiden in 1994, resulting in their breakup. After a couple of reunion shows in 2007 and 2009, Wolfsbane officially reunited in June 2010. To date, Wolfsbane have released four studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, two EPs and three demos. In 2012, a lost "Live in the Studio" recording was found in Jase Edwards' loft and was mastered and released as a special, "available only on tour", making it a rare limited edition. The band have had a few changes in their line-up since their formation.
Earth vs the Wildhearts is the debut studio album by British rock band The Wildhearts, released in 1993. The title is based on such B-movie titles as Earth vs. the Flying Saucers and Earth vs. the Spider.
Anthem is a single released in August 1997 by The Wildhearts, on the Mushroom Records Label. It was the first Wildhearts single to be released on multiple formats with different b-sides on each format, which caused some uproar at the time from longtime fans of the band. It reached number 21 on the UK chart.

Riff After Riff After Motherfucking Riff is a 2002 compilation of the B-sides from various versions of The Wildhearts' 2002 single "Vanilla Radio" plus the song "Stormy in the North, Karma in the South". An expanded version of the compilation called Riff After Riff was released in the US the following year, featuring several more tracks recorded by the band in 2001 and 2002. These additional songs were generally used as B-sides for the other singles from The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed. All of the songs from both versions of this compilation except for "Vanilla Radio" are also found on the 2004 compilation Coupled With.
Geordie in Wonderland is a 2006 live album by The Wildhearts. It was recorded at Scarborough Castle in 2005, and consists of the audio from a live DVD that was filmed that night by Secret/Snapper records.

The Great White Monkey is an acoustic live album that was available to buy at acoustic performances by The Wildhearts frontman Ginger. The album was recorded at the Rugeley Rose Theatre in Staffordshire England on 27 September 2003. The show itself consisted of two sets, however the recording was a single CD that was one condensed set featuring a mixture of tracks from both sets. The album proved incredibly popular, with early copies of the album fetching over £80 on eBay. An expanded 2-CD version containing both sets was released by Round Records on 1 June 2009.
Live Begins at 40 is a live album The Wildhearts frontman Ginger that was available to buy through mail order. It was recorded at Ginger's 40th Birthday Bash live at The Marquee, London, 17 December 2004. The show consisted of two sets, however the CD was a condensed version of both. Ginger has hinted they will release a two-disc special edition of the full concert.
