The Wildhearts Strike Back is a live album by British rock band The Wildhearts. Recorded at various shows during a UK tour between April and May 2004, it was produced by Jase Edwards and released on 25 October 2004 by Gut Records. The album reached number 18 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
The Wildhearts Strike Back is the band's first official live album released in the UK, [1] following 1998's Anarchic Airwaves: The Wildhearts at the BBC, which is considered by the band not to be an official release, [2] and 1999's Tokyo Suits Me, which was released in Japan only. [3] It features recordings taken from a number of shows on a UK tour during April and May 2004, namely at Liquid Room in Edinburgh, Leeds Metropolitan University in Leeds, Rock City in Nottingham, the Carling Academy in Liverpool, The Leadmill in Sheffield, the Hammersmith Palais in London, the Roadmender in Northampton, and The Waterfront in Norwich. [4] The double album was released on CD, enhanced CD and vinyl – the enhanced CD includes the music videos for "Vanilla Radio", "Top of the World", "Stormy in the North, Karma in the South", and "So into You". The Wildhearts Strike Back received mixed reviews from critics. MusicOMH columnist Vik Bansal described the collection as "better than the majority of live albums you'll come across", but conceded that "the casual fan ... is pretty unlikely to shell out their hard-earned [money] on this". [6] A review published in the Manchester Evening News claimed that "the 2004 tour dates documented on this double disc live album are a worthy illustration of the band's power and abilities", but suggested that "despite the high quality sound recording, most of the songs on The Wildhearts Strike Back suffer due to the neat and tidy way the album is constructed, demeaning the flow of a live concert". [7] Conversely, a writer for the website Punktastic claimed that the use of recordings from multiple live shows "gives the album a better feel for the live experience that The Wildhearts have been famed for during their lengthy existence", concluding that "this is just about everything [the band] could want from a live album". [8]

We've Come for You All is the ninth studio album by American heavy metal band Anthrax. It was released on May 6, 2003 through Nuclear Blast in Europe and Sanctuary Records in North America. This was the first Anthrax record to feature Rob Caggiano on lead guitar and their last studio album with John Bush on vocals. The album was recorded over a one-year span at the BearTracks Recording Studio in Suffern, New York. The cover art was designed by comic book artist Alex Ross, while the production was handled by Scrap 60 Productions team. The Who vocalist Roger Daltrey and Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell made guest appearances on the album.
Meltdown is the fourth studio album to be recorded by the Northern Irish rock band Ash. The album was released on 17 May 2004 through Infectious Records and Home Grown. Following the success of their third studio album Free All Angels (2001), Ash debuted several new songs while touring throughout 2003. By October that year, they had travelled to Los Angeles, California, to record a follow-up album, which was co-produced by Nick Raskulinecz and the band. Recording sessions were held at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys and at Chalice Studios, Hollywood. Meltdown, which is described as a hard rock album, drew comparisons to the work of The Smashing Pumpkins and critics said the guitar work resembles that of Black Sabbath and Metallica.
The Wildhearts are an English rock band, formed in 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Don't Be Happy... Just Worry is the second extended play (EP) by British rock band The Wildhearts. Released on 23 November 1992 by East West and Bronze Records, it consists of remixed versions of all four tracks from the band's first EP Mondo Akimbo a-Go-Go alongside four new tracks recorded at Rockfield Studios in Rockfield, Wales with producer Robert Musso. The EP was the band's first release to chart, reaching number 91 on the UK Albums Chart.

Recorded on 17 September 2005 at Scarborough Castle in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, it was produced by Roger Lomas and released on 24 July 2006 by Secret Records. The album reached number 34 on the UK Independent Albums Chart. A corresponding video album was released under the title Live at Scarborough Castle on 23 October 2006, which reached number 42 on the UK Music Video Chart.
Jonathan Charles Poole, also known by his stage name Random Jon Poole, is an English musician and songwriter. A multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer, he is best known for his work as guitarist for Cardiacs and as bass player for the Wildhearts and Lifesigns.
The Great White Monkey is an acoustic live album that was available to buy at acoustic performances by The Wildhearts frontman Ginger. The album was recorded at the Rugeley Rose Theatre in Staffordshire England on 27 September 2003. The show itself consisted of two sets, however the recording was a single CD that was one condensed set featuring a mixture of tracks from both sets. The album proved incredibly popular, with early copies of the album fetching over £80 on eBay. An expanded 2-CD version containing both sets was released by Round Records on 1 June 2009.
Christopher Paul Persaud-Jagdhar, known professionally as C. J. Wildheart, is an English musician of Guyanese and Seychellois descent. He is a solo artist and also a founding member of the rock band The Wildhearts. He was born in Colchester, and his early childhood was spent living in various military bases in Malaysia and Europe whilst his father and mother served in the British army. The family eventually moved back to the UK during his teens.

He began his professional career as a guitarist in The Quireboys, but is best known as the founder and leader of The Wildhearts.
