The 1904 Summer Olympics were an international multi-sport event held in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, from 1 July to 23 November 1904. Many events were conducted at what is now known as Francis Field on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. This was the first time that the Olympic Games were held outside Europe.

In 2011, Magomedov had won two bronze medals at the World Wrestling Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, and at the European Wrestling Championships in Dortmund, Germany. He is also a member of Atasport Wrestling Club in Baku, and is coached and trained by Anvar Magomedgadzhiev of Russia.

He is a two-time Olympian, a three-time medalist at the European Championships, and a three-time bronze medalist for his division at the World Championships. He is also a member of CCS Bacau Wrestling, and is coached and trained by Gheorghe Mocanu.
Luis Ygnacio Liendo is an amateur Venezuelan Greco-Roman wrestler, who competes in the men's lightweight category. He won two bronze medals for the 60 kg division at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Liendo also defeated United States wrestler Joe Betterman for the gold medal in the same division at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, earning him a spot on the Venezuelan wrestling team for the Olympics.
Andrés Antonio Ayub Valenzuela is an amateur Chilean Greco-Roman wrestler, who competes in the men's super heavyweight category.
Muhammad Al-Sa'id Abdallah Abouhalima is an Egyptian amateur Greco-Roman wrestler, who competes in the men's featherweight category. Abouhalima represented Egypt at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where he competed in the 55 kg class. He lost the qualifying match to U.S. wrestler Spenser Mango, who was able to score six points in two straight periods, leaving Abouhalima with a single point.
