The Crozzon di Lares is a mountain in Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. It is located in Val Rendena, Province of Trento. [1]
Its summit was conquered for the first time by a young Bohemian climber, Julius von Payer, along with Coronna, Gries and Hayer, on 3 September 1868; on the same day they also reached the nearby Corno di Cavento. [2]
It was the theater of bitter fighting during World War I; held by Austro-Hungarian troops, it was captured by the Alpini on 29 April 1916. Remains of soldiers killed in World War I are sometimes found by mountaineers due to the melting of the nearby glacier. [3] [4]

The Brenta Group or Brenta Dolomites is a mountain range, and a subrange of the Rhaetian Alps in the Southern Limestone Alps mountain group. Spressa delle Giudicarie is an Italian cheese that comes from the region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. The Spressa delle Giudicarie can be consumed fresh after three months, while curing takes more than six months. The cheese is made in cylindrical shape, about 25 cm (9.8 in) in diameter. The crust is brown, the interior of the cheese is white to very pale yellow with small to medium-sized holes. The cheese is eaten when still young. It is a cow's milk cheese Rendena race mostly, from two milkings, the evening and the morning.
