Cymindis amicta is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily Harpalinae. [1] It was described by Thomas Vernon Wollaston in 1864. [1]

Alfred Newton FRS HFRSE was an English zoologist and ornithologist. Newton was Professor of Comparative Anatomy at Cambridge University from 1866 to 1907.
