Bell signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2022, following the 2022 NFL draft. [2] He made the Browns' 53-man final roster out of training camp. In doing so he became the first player from West Florida to make it in the NFL. [3]
On Sunday, December 17, 2023, Bell intercepted Justin Fields' hail mary pass in the end zone to secure a 20–17 win for the Browns over the Chicago Bears. [4] The pass got tipped multiple times in the end zone, with the ball eventually falling into Darnell Mooney's hands as he was falling to the ground; however, Mooney was unable to secure the pass, as he bobbled it before kicking it straight into Bell's hands.

He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, where he won the national championship and the Maxwell Award in 2001.
