DB ProjektBau GmbH was a German company that carried out and supported large-scale railway projects for Germany's national rail carrier, Deutsche Bahn (DB). It was created on 1 January 2003 as a subsidiary of DB. In 2016, it was merged with DB International into DB Engineering&Consulting/DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH.

<i>Bahnbetriebswerk</i>

A Bahnbetriebswerk is the equivalent of a locomotive depot on the German and Austrian railways. It is an installation that carries out the maintenance, minor repairs, refuelling and cleaning of locomotives and other motive power. In addition it organises the deployment of locomotives and crews. In the Deutsche Bahn, a Bahnbetriebswerk is known today as a Betriebshof; the ÖBB refer to it as a Zugförderungsstelle (Zf). Many other countries simply use the term 'depot'. The smaller facility, the Lokomotivstation akin to the British sub-depot or stabling point, is affiliated to a Bahnbetriebswerk.

DB Engineering & Consulting was created in Germany at the beginning of April 2016 as a result of the merger of two DB subsidiaries, DB International and DB ProjektBau.

DB E.C.O. Group, is a German conglomerate that resulted in 2019 from the integration of several Deutsche Bahn (DB) subsidiaries and affiliates.
