Damien Beebe, known professionally as DJ Day is a DJ, producer and musician from Palm Springs, California. He formed the Innernational Crew with DJ Rip One in 1995, and had subsequent appearances with Innernational on Return of the DJ III & Laid in Full. He has worked with Stones Throw recording artists Aloe Blacc and Clutchy Hopkins, as well as remixes for Quantic, Alice Russell, People Under The Stairs and more.

He has shared the stage with artists from Amy Winehouse to Eminem in a career spanning the last decade and a half, as well as frequently touring the continents of Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Australia as both a solo artist and representative of Red Bull Music Academy and a regular guest of the world-famous Do Over. He has released various singles as a solo artist, most notably "Four Hills" which was nominated for "Track of the Year" by Gilles Peterson'sWorldwide Show on BBC Radio 1 and used by DC Shoes for their PJ Ladd ad campaign. Land Of 1000 Chances

Land Of 1000 Chances was Released on February 12, 2013 as a limited edition LP, CD and Digitally on Piecelock 70, an artist collective based in Los Angeles of which Day is a founding member and co-creative director with Thes One. [5] It debuted on iTunes in the top 20 Chart both US and worldwide in the Electronic/Downtempo genre. Prior to its release, It had been added to several shows: Jon Oliver's Main Ingredient Show, [6] Gilles Peterson’s BBC Radio broadcasts, and was on KCRW’s top-50 playlist for 5 weeks. [7] Gilles Peterson invited Day to do an interview and exclusive mix, which was posted online on Feb. 5th, 2013. [8]

Though it had not been officially released yet, KCRW DJ Jeremy Sole listed Land Of 1000 Chances the #8 album of the year in 2012. [9] Both the track and the album were promoted by magazines & blogs, including: Impose Magazine, [10] URB, [11] RIK, [12] Music Is My Sanctuary, [13] Okayplayer, [14] Ego Trip Land, [15] [16] HypeTrak, [17] This Is Book's Music, [18] Giant Step, [19] Textura (album of the month), [20] BBC Music Review, [21] and PopMatters. People Under the Stairs was an American hip hop duo from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2019. Since their inception, the group consisted solely of Christopher Portugal and Michael Turner. The group employed a DIY work ethic of sampling, MCing, DJing, and producing all of their output.

"The Candy Man" is a song that originally appeared in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. It was written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley specifically for the film. Although the original 1964 book by Roald Dahl contains lyrics adapted for other songs in the film, the lyrics to "The Candy Man" do not appear in the book. As a lead artist, he is known for his singles "I Need a Dollar" and "The Man", the latter of which topped the UK Singles Chart. Aside from his solo career, Aloe Blacc is also a member of the hip hop duo Emanon, alongside American record producer Exile.

U-N-I are a hip hop duo from Inglewood, Los Angeles, consisting of Y-O and Thurzday.

Clutchy Hopkins is purportedly a multi-instrumentalist musician based out of California. His existence has not yet been fully verified, though he is widely believed to be a pseudonym for one of several popular DJs. The true identity of the person behind the music is not publicly known.

The album has charted in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The album includes production and co-songwriting from DJ Khalil, Pharrell Williams, Elton John, Theron Feemster and Rock Mafia. "The Man" is a song by American singer Aloe Blacc. Highlighter is the eighth album by the People Under the Stairs, and the first one released on Thes One's artist-cooperative label, Piecelock 70. With the exception of an iTunes-only EP, the album was released without accompanying singles or music videos. In the months following the release of Highlighter, PUTS embarked on yet another tour in support of the album.
