Dacoit: A Love Story [1] is an upcoming action drama film directed by cinematographer Shaneil Deo, in his directorial debut. Co-produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang, [2] the film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. [3] It stars Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. [4] The film unfolds as a tale of two former lovers forced to re-unite for a series of robberies that promise to alter the course of their lives. [5]

Shaneil Deo served as the director of photography for Telugu thrillers like Kshanam (2016) and Goodachari (2018). [4]

Shaneil Deo said "it is an intense action drama with a beating heart." [1] He stated that the film demanded a rooted, gritty, yet well-mounted and stylish canvas. [2]
