Damp is a compilation album by experimental/industrial band Foetus, released in November 2006 by Ectopic Ents. [1] Damp collects previously-unreleased material written since 2003, new recordings of rare Foetus material and tracks written by and/or featuring The The, Melvins, and Rotoskop. [2]
All tracks are written by J. G. Thirlwell, except "Shrunken Man", written by Matt Johnson (singer), "Mine Is No Disgrace" co-written with Buzz Osborne and "Paging Dr. Strong" co-written with Rotoskop.

Steroid Maximus is an instrumental side project of J.G. Thirlwell. Thirlwell is best known for his main band, Foetus. Steroid Maximus contains elements of jazz, big band, avant-garde, soundtrack and exotica styles.
Male is a live album by Foetus in Excelsis Corruptus Deluxe. It records the Foetus live performance of November 3, 1990 in Manhattan's famed CBGB nightclub. A film of this performance, also titled Male, was also released.
Deaf is the debut album by J. G. Thirlwell's You've Got Foetus on Your Breath, released in 1981 on Thirlwell's own Self Immolation Records label. Deaf, along with its follow-up Ache, was recorded with an 8-track recorder.
Ache is a You've Got Foetus on Your Breath album first released in 1982 on Self Immolation Records. Thirsty Ear reissued the album as a CD in 1997 in the US. Both releases were limited editions: only 1,500 copies of the LP and 4,000 copies of the CD were produced. Ache, along with its predecessor, Deaf, was recorded in an 8-track studio.
Flow is a Foetus album released in 2001, returning to form for Foetus. There was also a remix album as Blow.
Love is a Foetus album released on CD by Ectopic Ents/Birdman Records in 2005. Initial copies include a DVD disc with additional content. It features a dramatic shift in tone and style compared to previous Foetus releases, being more atmospheric and emotional in tone.
(not adam) is an EP by Foetus, released in 2004 by Ectopic Ents/Birdman. (not adam) was released as a teaser EP for the Love album.
Self Immolation is a record label and publishing company run by J. G. Thirlwell. Originally an actual label for Thirlwell's self-released early Foetus EPs and albums, Self Immolation became more akin to a vanity label for Thirlwell's releases on Some Bizzare Records and Wax Trax! Records. Most Self Immolation releases are identified by a call number beginning with a Foetal-inspired "WOMB" designator.

York is an album by The Foetus Symphony Orchestra featuring Lydia Lunch, released in 1997 by Thirsty Ear Recordings. Unlike Foetus' other albums, York is a wholly collaborative work. A "travelogue and exploration of DUMBO ", York features J. G. Thirlwell as composer and conductor for a group of notable New York City musicians. The musicians, almost all of whom had worked with Thirlwell before, were encouraged to freely improvise on their parts. Lydia Lunch, a regular Thirlwell collaborator, narrates the proceedings.
The Radiolarian Ooze is the second album from Manorexia, it was released in 2002 by Ectopic Ents. Like its predecessor, Volvox Turbo, The Radiolarian Ooze is self-distributed by J. G. Thirlwell and sold exclusively at the Official Foetus Website.
Soak is the tenth studio album by Foetus, released on October 15, 2013 by Ectopic Ents. It acts as the satellite album for the 2010 album Hide.
The Blue Eyes is a 2013 musical score by Australian composer J. G. Thirlwell for the film of the same name, written and directed by Eva Aridjis. Recorded in January 2011, the album was released on December 3, 2013 by Ectopic Ents. The score marks a musical departure for Thirlwell, exhibiting a more sombre tone compared to his previous soundtrack work for The Venture Bros.
Dinoflagellate Blooms is the fourth studio album that J. G. Thirlwell has issued under the pseudonym Manorexia. It was released on June 11, 2011 by Ectopic Ents. The Wire gave the record a glowing review, saying "it's a hugely satisfying record, representing half a decade of concentrated work but also a fine unity of purpose."
Limb is a Foetus compilation album, released on May 15, 2009 by Ectopic Ents. Limb collects out-of-print and previously unreleased instrumental tracks from the early days of Foetus. Limb is packaged with a DVD featuring Clément Tuffreau's NYC Foetus documentary about Thirlwell's life in New York, along with several live performances of Thirlwell's ensembles and commissioned music.
Custom Built for Capitalism is an EP by Foetus Over Frisco, released in April 1982 by Self Immolation.
Vein is a remix album Foetus, released on October 22, 2007 by Ectopic Ents. It contains remixes of songs from the studio album Love, including a b-side from the (not adam) EP.
