The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
The men's triple jump competition at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens was held at the Olympic Stadium on 20–22 August. Forty-seven athletes from 35 nations competed. The maximum number of athletes per nation had been set at 3 since the 1930 Olympic Congress. The first round was held on 14 October, with the semifinals on 15 October and the final on 16 October. The event was won by Rex Cawley of the United States, the nation's sixth consecutive and 11th overall victory in the men's 400 metres hurdles. For the first time since 1952, the Americans did not sweep the event. John Cooper earned Great Britain's first medal in the event since 1928 with his silver; Salvatore Morale took Italy's first-ever medal in the 400 metres hurdles with his bronze.
The Soviet Union (USSR) competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. 317 competitors, 254 men and 63 women, took part in 154 events in 19 sports.
Artem Alekseevich Anisimov is a Russian professional ice hockey centre who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL). Anisimov has also previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Rangers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators. Danil Haustov is an Estonian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. He set an Estonian record of 1:27.06, as a relay swimmer, in the 4×50 m freestyle at the 2008 European Short Course Swimming Championships in Rijeka, Croatia. Haustov is also a member of Kohtla-Järve Water Sport Club in Tallinn, and is coached and trained by Aleksandr Abel.
Danil Bugakov is an Uzbek former swimmer, who specialized in backstroke, freestyle and individual medley events. He won two medals for the 50 m backstroke at the Asian Swimming Championships. He is also the brother of freestyle swimmer and three-time Olympian Mariya Bugakova.
Mariya Bugakova is an Uzbekistani former swimmer, who specialized in butterfly and sprint freestyle events. She represented Uzbekistan at three editions of the Olympic Games. She is also the elder sister of backstroke swimmer and two-time Olympian Danil Bugakov. Bugakova is a law school graduate at the Tashkent State University of Economics.
Iurii Zakharov is a Kyrgyzstani former swimmer, who specialized in backstroke and individual medley events. He represented his Kyrgyzstan in two editions of the Olympic Games.
Park Beom-ho is a South Korean swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and individual medley events. He represented his nation South Korea at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won a bronze medal, as a member of the men's 4×200 m freestyle relay team, at the 2006 Asian Championships in Singapore.
Wang Shao-an is a Taiwanese former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. He is a single-time Olympian, and a sixth-place finalist in the 100 m freestyle at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. He also competed in two previous Asian Games, but finished outside the top 8.
Yasha Manasherov is a retired amateur Israeli Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's middleweight category. Manasherov finished eighth in the 74-kg division at the 2003 World Wrestling Championships in Créteil, France, and later represented his nation Israel at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He also trained as a member of the wrestling team for Hapoel Rehovot Sports Club under his personal coach Leva Zimkin. Coming from one of the most prestigious wrestling families in the former Soviet Union, Manasherov competed along with his cousin, three-time Olympian, and 2003 world champion Gocha Tsitsiashvili in numerous global tournaments.
José Alberto Recuero García is a retired amateur Spanish Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's middleweight category. He represented his nation Spain in two editions of the Olympic Games, and later capped his sporting career with a bronze medal in the 74-kg division at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería. Before his retirement from wrestling in 2006, Recuero trained full-time for Baron Viver Wrestling Club in his native Barcelona under his coach Bernardo Martínez.
Danil Takhirovich Khalimov was a Russian-Kazakhstani amateur Greco-Roman wrestler of Tatar descent, who competed in the men's middleweight category.
Vasyl Anisimov is a former Soviet-Ukrainian hurdler and sprinter. He competed in the men's 400 metres hurdles and the men's 4 × 400 metres relay at the 1964 Summer Olympics.
Kim Jin-soo is a South Korean former amateur Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's middleweight category. Kim wrestled for the South Korean squad in two editions of the Summer Olympics and came closest to the medal haul in 2000. Outside the Olympic career, Kim collected a total of five medals in a major international tournament, including a gold at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan. Worked as a full-time employee for Korean Housing Company, Kim trained throughout his wrestling career for the company's sports club, under his personal coach Kim Chang-duk.
Russia took part at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland from 9 to 22 January 2020. A total of 104 athletes competed in 16 sports. Russian athletes won a record of 10 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze medals, topping host Switzerland in the overall ranking.
Danil Chaban is a Russian luger. He competed at the 1998 Winter Olympics and the 2002 Winter Olympics.
