Dario Simion (born May 22, 1994) is a Swiss professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for EV Zug of the National League (NL).
Simion joined Davos from HC Lugano on a two-year contract from the 2014–15 season on December 16, 2013. [1] In his first season with Davos, Simion enjoyed a breakout year, registering career high's across the board with 13 goals and 27 points in 47 games to be selected as the NLA media's most improved player for 2015.
On June 6, 2018, Simion unexpectedly dissolved his contract with HC Davos to sign a two-year contract worth CHF 1.2 million with EV Zug.

Simion participated at the 2012 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships as a member of the Switzerland men's national junior ice hockey team. [2]
He represented Switzerland at the 2024 IIHF World Championship and won a silver medal. [3]

The National League (NL) is a professional ice hockey league in Switzerland and is the top tier of the Swiss league system. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was known as National League A. During the 2018–19 season, the league had an average of 6,949 spectators per game which is the highest among European leagues. The capital city's club SC Bern has been ranked first of all European clubs for 18 seasons and had an average attendance of 16,290 after the regular season. The ZSC Lions are another club in the top ten of European ice hockey attendance, ranking seventh with 9,694 spectators.
Douglas Arthur Shedden is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former player. He played in the National Hockey League between 1981 and 1991. After his playing career he became a coach, and worked in the minor leagues for several years. He coached Team Finland to a bronze medal in 2008 World Championships. Shedden is currently coaching HC '05 Banská Bystrica in the Slovak Tipos extraliga.

Patrick Fischer is a Swiss ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey forward who played briefly in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Arizona Coyotes. He predominantly played in his native country in the National League A. He is currently the head coach of the Swiss national team.

Reto Berra is a Swiss professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for HC Fribourg-Gottéron of the National League (NL). Berra played seven seasons in Switzerland's National League A, spending time with the GCK Lions, HC Davos and SCL Tigers before joining EHC Biel in 2009 where he was the team's starting goaltender for four years. He was an NHL draft pick of the St. Louis Blues, selected in the fourth round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and was traded to the Calgary Flames, with whom he made his NHL debut in 2013–14. Internationally, Berra has played with the Swiss National Team on several occasions; he has appeared in two World Championships. At the 2013 tournament, he shared goaltending duties with Martin Gerber and helped lead Switzerland to a silver medal, the nation's first medal in 60 years.
Andres Ambühl is a Swiss professional ice hockey forward and captain of HC Davos of the National League (NL). He has won six Swiss top league championships, two Spengler Cups, and a silver medal with Switzerland at the 2013 World Championship. Ambühl also represented Switzerland at Winter Olympics in 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022. He holds the records for the most top-division appearances (18) and top-division games played (131) in World Championship history.
Raphael Salvador Diaz is a Swiss professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays with HC Fribourg-Gottéron in the National League (NL). Diaz previously played with the Rangers during the 2014 season after the trade deadline. He began his professional career with EV Zug in 2003 and has also played with the Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, New York Rangers and the Calgary Flames. After returning to Switzerland with EV Zug Diaz has won the 2019 Swiss Cup and the 2020-21 NL Championship
