At the FISA World Rowing Championships in 2007, Mickelson won the gold medal again in the women's eight and won the "B" final in the women's pair.
David Anthony Aspin is a wrestler from Waiuku, New Zealand. He competed in the freestyle wrestling discipline, where he was the 1974 Commonwealth Games champion and 1970 Commonwealth Games bronze medalist, in the middleweight category. He was also New Zealand's flag bearer at the opening ceremonies of the 1972 Summer Olympics, in Munich, and at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. David Lindsay "Dave" Turner was an American competition rower and Olympic champion, naval aviator in World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War and later hurricane hunter for the US Navy and NOAA. Born in Oakland, California, he won a gold medal in coxed eights at the 1948 Summer Olympics, as a member of the American team. His brother Ian was on the same Olympic team.

Kirk Dwight Cummins is a former Barbadian sprinter who competed in the men's 100m competition at the 1996 Summer Olympics. He recorded a 10.33 in his first heat, enough to qualify for the next round past the heats. He ran a 10.45 in the quarterfinals, ending his stay in the competition. His personal best is 10.25, set in 1996.
